What did WickedFire get for Christmas?



Actually, thanks to Turbo's guidance I spent my Christmas down at the YMCA setting up the christmas dinner, serving the homeless quite the spread, handing out gifts with Santa, cleaning up and handing out hot coffee as people left.

I try to volunteer pretty often, but it was my first christmas deal and it will definitely be a tradition from here on out.

Sometimes I get sad and cry when I am alone, and eating chocolates, because as much as we know you are living the life I worry you missed/are missing out on your childhood......

A Kindle (on my 2nd book so far), assorted pod coffees, a couple books, undies, funny t-shirts, jeans, dark chocolate, a board game, and some other stuff I can't remember.

New snowboard, bindings, boots, and goggles from the wife.

Volunteered at a Childrens Safety Center Christmas party supervising non-custodial parents with their kids. Some of the more rude and trashy parents almost made me never want to waste my time helping them see their kids again.
 
I got a pull up bar that goes into the door frame, a new 61key keyboard, and an acoustic guitar. and a couple of shirts. Pretty badass christmas if you ask me :)

When I was broke and young I was always super excited for christmas.

I went to private school and so all my friends were rich and had beast computers, gaming systems, etc. My family is spendthrift and only sent me to private school for a good education, so I was left with a Dreamcast and a crappy computer while everyone else had the best gaming systems and xboxes with flat screen TVs. Hell, one time I was begging my dad to buy me a new computer when I was in the 6th grade and he told me to shut the fuck up and screamed at me so loud (yea it was scary).

Now I have a nice flatscreen TV, an xbox 360, and a pretty beast gaming system, and as a kid I would have killed for these things, but after a while I am starting to take it all for granted. I no longer look forward to christmas because I have bought all the things I ever wanted. =[ But tis' nice to spend time with family and friends.

I love our Keurig. Best home coffee ever.

I got clothes, lots of Buccaneers gear. BBQ stuff and a Bluetooth headset. Various 'Dad' type gifts

Best gift so far is this mini RC heli. After 3 days I am a pro at buzzing the kids and dogs.

The batteries in the remote charge the coptor. 6 AA's, I've gone through about 3 sets so far. Casualties so far have been a few breakable xmas decorations. Well worth the learning curve IMO. I can definitely envision getting better setups in the near future.
