Quick! Have Bryce (ytcracker) write up a song for POF and replace it with the lame song its currently using... OR make a new commercial and use his track to target and attract more people in the niche demographics that everyone here has been bitching about with the lack of volume on their buys!

I just checked out the site for the first time, and it definitely needs a face lift. My guess is you are losing a decent amount of people through the plain looking homepage. But what do i know... you seem to be doing well haha
 
good commercials, instead of 'the most visited dating site in america" i would say "Americas favorite FREE dating site" just nitpicking really.

1st one is better! It creates a sence of like "Hey I'm the same kinda lonely guy who wakes up alone & goes to bed alone, why not try POF?" Instead of the second commercial that has the boring "lovers meet in the end" kinda ending.

Have you ever tried browsing it? the distorted thumbnails make it look so unprofessional. Yeah I know Markus keeps it like that for a reason... so people have to click to see the photo clearly, and therefore inflate the page views. Not good for our advertising dollars, but good for Markus' pockets.

It's a bit like Donald Trump's hair.. it's horrible but it has become part of his image now, he can't risk changing it.

I remember generating okcupid.com leads for a while, that's a pretty awesome (also completely free) site with an excellent user experience... it deserves to go to the top.
 
Sweet ad. Congrats to POF. Nice to see the site go this far from so little. Marcus should write a book about it.
 
Congrats! Out of interest.. i have a killer slogan for a dating site that i thought of a while ago. How would i go about selling something like that without tripping myself up? Can yoo copyright stuff like that first??

I don't think you can copyright it, but you can most likely trademark it.
