Time = Money

Why do supermarkets need people "cleaned"? I thought they wanted more customers, not less?

If i cleaned people wouldnt that birng more customers? I mean you wouldnt need to pay for the shoeshine boy to clean your shoes and you would save money on soap.

interesting, you thought about volunteering?

I dont like the idea of volunteering the problem i have is i need to be making some form of return on my time, even if its a small return as long as im doing something work related, i would work for free but i would never do volunteering work.

That's a little confusing.

And that is the exact reason you will die broke and probably alone.

OP: You have but two choices:

1. Dump that STUPID BITCH.

2. Join her and become a fulltime fool, but if you do this we will ban you from Wickedfire before you hit your 10th post.

That's a little confusing.

All im saying is i would work for free but would never do volunteer work, i do donate to a charity however i would also do a charity event. All the volunteer work i have seen is for live music events or jobs that you "volunteer" to get a full time job in for example you volunteer to help out at the times newspaper after a few months they hand you a job i just find volunteer work to be a stepping stone into a job and there for would never do it.

maybe its a little confusing but i guess it depends what you class volunteering as, what you class charity work as, what working for free is and what working is.

That's closer to an internship.

That's volunteering. Stuff like helping United Way or the American Red Cross is volunteering. You're basically giving your time for a non-profit.

If you plan on working for yourself someday you better get used to volunteering your time, because your going to do a lot of stuff and spend alot of time doing stuff your not going to get direct compensation for. Or you may even spend a lot of time and actually lose money doing it.

This has been already proven:

I look at it a little differnt.

apprenticeship = some one taking a trade (building work and so forth)
interns are for people with a degree and dont have the rights as a full time worker.
volunteer are people who dont have a degree and try and get on the job ladder but have better rights then someone doing a intern.
charity work is for anyone who helps out a charity
