Hi,

First off, hello and congrats to all of you guys. Hello because this is my first thread, and congrats because I see that almost all of the posts here are respectful, and overflowing with human kindness. Maybe not overflowing, and maybe it is not kindness but just good manners, but whatever it is, this forum seems a great place. I am glad I found it somehow.

About me and my Offer

Let me first mention that I am not a "native writer". If that is a complete turn-off for you, that's too bad because you will miss out on some great content. But hey, whatever floats your boat!

(If you are still reading, you are a hoopy frood in my book)

I seek to write for $1.5 and above per 100 words. In an effort to gauge whether anyone is prepared to pay me at that rate, I am offering to write 3 articles of 350-400 words each for free. Even if you are a new member with relatively fewer or zero iTrades, you can ask for a review copy as long as you can show me that you are a buyer of content ( by sharing links to your sites etc). Turnaround time: 24 hours.

What I write

Ezine Articles: Your target publisher may include Ezinearticles, Go Articles, Associated Content, Hubpages hubs, Squidoo lenses, Triond - I have published on all.

Blog posts: On just about any topic.

Academic Essays: Yes can do.

Legal, Medical or other non-trivial topics: Definitely. I have ghost-rewritten for lawyers, in cooperation with my editor. The rates will be relatively higher, depending on the complexity of the work.

What I don't write*
I am not a copywriter. I can still write articles that throw a positive light on a subject, and end with a sales pitch, but I am not the guy for you if you want a full-on sales page. [ I am learning, and one day I will be a copywriter too, but not now]

I don't write about topics such as astrology and religion unless it is from an academic angle.

*Adult - depends. Let me know your topics.

For the review copy, I gave him such an easy topic to write about and he's like "sorry, it's too hard. It's too much"

Please, don't misrepresent what I said. I did not say it was hard - I said it was more work than that for what I had offered to do for a review. Here is my quote in my reply to you:

I offered a single article, but you asked me for 4 different pieces, on 4 different subjects, of a hundred words each. These require different amount of work, though the word count may seem equal. I hope this explanation soothes any feelings of rejection my polite no might have engendered. Also, stop behaving like this is high school. Re-read my offer too:

On another note, I have already given two review-copies to wanna-succeed and DNChamp.com; any feedback from them is appreciated. (I guess you guys have subscribed to this thread etc)

what I asked for is the same as the following:

topic = how to kill bed bugs (400 words)
instruction = Talk about 4 methods of killing bed bugs and write 100 words for each method.

Seriously, how is this too much???

b) I have requested a moderater to look into you posting on this thread. Maybe you have a right to post - which would be unfortunate. But if you don't, which I hope it is, I want to see your posts deleted. In that vein, stop posting here.

c) I have shown you some reviews I have received. If you are a serious buyer, you can always order an article.

You just have to accept it that I did not give you a free review. Get over it. And I do not regret it, however you might try to pollute this thread or continue to slander me.

What are you doing here - you just exchanged some emails with me?!

I would really want someone to weigh in on the appropriateness of some guy who exchanged 7 IMs with me trying to slander me in my own thread. He has not ordered any article, he is neither a client nor a reviewer. I am would be surprised if that is allowed here.

I showed my wickedfire friend what I asked you to write, and he said that asking you to write lets say "4 methods of killing bed bugs" and write 100 words for each method does seem tough or a bit too much.

I will stop posing on this thread. This is my last. Sorry.

Just received my article, was very mediocure...
There were too many grammatical errors in it for publishing.
I gave him a medical topic, so I realize it's hard to chew on, however I would recommend the OP lower his price a little for now, until he gains more experience.

Edit: I am rereading my article and this thread, and clearly the OP has a skilled tung, however something went a little wierd with my article. I am going to assume it was just the topic I gave him, which was medical in a sense... Perhaps I am not the best judge. Just trying to be fair to the OP.

Got my review.....He did not say he could write it BUT he did ask questions first and once I gave him a few links to check out what I mean he pretty much nailed it. He may be wet behind the ears but for my review he tried and asked to make sure I tell him if he needs to revise it so he is willing to make it right. I can use this once I take care of 1 small issue. Overall I will say 8/10 and over time he will get better. no doubt!

Thanks for the review - I believe it is a balanced and honest review. I could have definitely made it read better. But the article covered a lot of medical ground, and that you asked me to make it funny threw off my style a bit too. But overall, I am delighted with your honest appraisal here, and on email; it will help me a lot in the long run.
