There, i said it.

I've been stuck around $1k/day for 3 years.

I missed the boat on everything that was hot and make all my money on stuff nobody talks about. That's nice and everything but everything that was hot like IQ, Acai, etc... I came in on the tail end of it weeks before shit hit the fan.

Of course theres MUCH more opportunity than only the super easy stuff that a child could sell. But that's just it I should have been on top of it but I wasn't social enough nor was I testing CPA stuff enough.

I'm really sick of being here. I'm currently trying to replicate myself and scale by building more sites, etc and I'll see how that goes. Should go great after 2 years.........

Anyway, just venting here because I'm pissed at myself.

Back to work

i keep 70% and use 30% to test and scale...

but 1k profit a day is good over 3 years... lots of peeps would love to make 365k a year

You mean you've been spending three years worth of profits on scaling and haven't scaled yet? Or that you've just started scaling?

I kept trying to do new shit that didn't work out and wasn't scaling what was already working. It was unrelated.

So, say I'm making 500/day from a site in a niche. You'd think I would make more sites right? No instead i tried to become a merchant for diet and bizopp with good intentions and good products. Then I found out how shady you had to be to profit. Lost lots of money because I was naive.

Another example is seeing "oh look this is hot promote it" and finally giving in and spending money to promote it... Usually losing a bit, almost breaking even, then shit gets banned or whatever, and I decide ok back to my old projects AGAIN.

As of Dec '10, I started building/training people carefully to replicate my current success.

I've realized it's really hard to stop paying attention to every shiny new thing that people say is hot. I don't want to miss out on shit, but I need to dedicate myself to what's working already, I figure.

So, is your problem that you're unable to scale because of some mysterious glass ceiling you've hit, or that you're a fuckwit who found something that works pretty well, and you immediately moved onto the next hip thing 'cause everyone else is doing it?

I'd commit fucking murder on a crowded street in broad daylight to randomly stumble across a 1k/day campaign in an unknown niche.

Yeah so I feel my failure is an insult to you guys in a way. It's like what the fuck is wrong with me... I work my ass off daily. But I somehow have gotten away from how I originally succeeded... and I must be just wasting time.

Hence, I pick option number two.
Pissed.

Then you need to find the root cause of this problem and solve that. Then you need to find the root causes of your past success and see how they can be replicated in another area.

I wouldn't put all my focus into a single niche type unless the barrier to entry is really high. Once you start making copies of those sites, you increase the chances of someone seeing a pattern and start looking closer at you because if you're putting more focus into it then it must be worth their time in also entering that market. The more people see a profitable area, the more the word gets out and then you get another Berry bubble until "poof" you're making a steady $0/day instead of $1k/day.

So, figure out what worked, and then apply that same/similar process into replicating the model in other niches (i.e. how you found out that niche was worth it, why you chose specific keywords over others, how you structured your site's architecture, etc.).

Agreed 100% - That's what I'm working on right now. I'm just pissed looking back at all the time I've wasted along the way. It could be $5000/day by now but instead I was too busy spending money and time and stress trying to hit it big with the latest CPA stuff, whatever that may have been at the time.

In november I mapped out what worked for me, then figured out exactly how I'd replicate it. Then I started training people to help me do it well. It's been slow and it's my first time really putting in effort to train people. But the point is to replicate myself, so that's what I'll do.

Thanks btw.

The funny thing about this thread is, there's going to be 100 people that never made 1k in a day giving you advice.

so you're like someone gettin their real estate license in 2008?

My cousin got his license in October of 2008... I didn't wanna laugh at his misfortune, but it was hard as shit not to, the timing couldnt have possibly been worse. Needless to say he isn't selling real estate anymore.... or did he ever.

I'd give both testicles for $1k/day consistently. Thanks for putting my lack of progress/success into perspective OP.
