I get an email from my affiliate manger at a large company with a common color in its name telling me that my leads to VIP Singles are not backing out and to stop traffic by some date.

I blinked for a second and realized I don't even actively promote this offer. I have 1 link on a random page somewhere. I didn't think I even had any leads. I log in hoping to some a big pile of money from all these leads and I found 1 this month. I looked at past data and found 3. Wait a second, I only have 4 leads with this offer for the YEAR!

I mention this stupidity not because I care about this offer at all, but any merchant that is willing to request the AM email a affiliate to stop "all traffic" to the offer after 4 leads in 3 months has some serious problems. I told my AM to tell them to go fuck themselves and that I would never do business with anyone so shady.

Rather than end it at that I thought it would be courteous of me to mention to anyone else promoting or thinking about this offer that they are bat nuts crazy. I would be extremely cautious working with this offer at any level.

I ran it and made some good money for a couple weeks. It's actually not a bad offer if you can keep quality up. You probably just sent 4 leads worth $10.50 each that didn't backout for shit, and the advertiser probably thought you were some shitty low volume affiliate so might as well just pause your ass.

That offer is always fucking with me. No matter the demo I target, I only get leads clocked in at $3.40 / Lead. Apparently every fucker in the world has an average income less than $25k.

I ran this offer a while back with decent results in terms of high income targeting. The demo was somewhat small, but PM me if you want a rough idea of who I was going after.

From the same network you mentioned, I got an email asking to halt all traffic for SinglesNet, claiming my pictures were illegal for use on the offer.

The funny part? I haven't pushed traffic with the network in 2 years. WTF?

My AM asked if it was first time getting such a notice and why thats why I had such a response.. LOL

He made me a little thing to try and explain why I got the message, which basically is that over the time period I did in fact have a 0% conversion rate, and that they might not actually consider the number of leads, just that I was on the bottom of the list.

Almost the same thing happened with SinglesNet with a couple other people as well.

That's the beauty of Plenty Of Fish's stats and conversion pixel. You could see who is doing what with the offers.

There's about 5 offers you really need to run and segment demographically if you are trying to cover 100% of the available single white females... Then there's another 4 or 5 for the highly profitable ethnic niches.

Lotsa work. It's worth hiring some help just to keep up.

You probably triggered some kind of filter by sending extremely low volume combined with 0% conversion. No reason why the advertiser would want to keep you on board.

Was it this network?
