Google+ will take over, better start selling +1s

I just realized, Google has this shit in the bag. You can add anyone to your "circle" even if they don't have a Google+ account, and status updates will be emailed to them. Slap in a link to "Join Google+ Now!" and Facebook is history. Sure it will take a while, but that's how it happened with Myspace.

Google knows that they are the biggest portal to the internet. All they had to do was integrate Google+ with their search engine (they did) and make it easy for people to join.

Subigo: No shit, really? How techie is she?

And how did she even hear about it?

She's not computer savvy or up-to-date with tech/Internet services at all. She saw a bunch of people on Facebook talking about moving to Google+ and then called me up and asked if I knew how to get an invite. I already had a Google+ account, so I hooked her up.

Orkut, Buzz, Wave are all failed(unless you are Brazilian) attempts at social networking. You have to admire their tenacity in continuing to come back to the well.

There are already things I don't like about G+ and things I do like, but the things I do like I probably like because I am bit geeky when it comes to new things.

On Facebook I regularly have over 200 people available to chat but NEVER talk to anyone on Facebook chat, it's either Skype or Trillian, but I could see my non-tech relatives using Facebook chat or their Facebook e-mail account.

I like the idea of the "Hangout" even though it is limited to 10 concurrent users, I am thinking mastermind groups, small elite webinars, but it should be better than Skype, at least until Microsoft sort Skype out.

Unless you have the ability of carrying over what you post on Facebook into G+ I don't want to be writing the same crap twice.

I heard some stupid cunt on the news getting all hopped up on our local station about it, when she clearly had no idea wtf she was talking about. She even said that the facebookers are suffering from FACEBOOK FATIGUE? Come the fuck on....

This is gonna be a big element in the success or lack of it, the mainstream media doing pieces on Google+. It's such an easy story, Google launches Facebook killer, Facebook is dead, blah, blah. The press loves easy stories like this and they're getting sick of Twitter, the last Internet fad that's now too mainstream to do stories about.

Build it up and tear it down.

Facebook is so last year, Google+ is where it's at, etc.

Google I love you!
Yer just saying that because you know:

1. That googlebot lives in this forum.

2. That google+ collects a lot more information about U now.

3. That now Google as a whole literally has the power to find and kill anyone's site that says a discouraging word about them or google+...

Come to think of it... I love google MORE! :338:

Just wait until its implemented with android..

They could add a thing that says call, text, google+ when you click on the contact

Lots of other features could from that. When they do that it will be an easy take over. Everyone with android will want to google+ people as well. They could ask and descrive google+ when you setup the phone.

That's how my Windows Phone 7 works. Facebook is integrated completely into the OS, if you view a contact you have details and a photo from their profile, if you flick to the right you get all their wall posts. Twitter and LinkedIn integration are also coming in the next update. When I pin a contact to the home page it grabs status updates and images from their facebook and shows them on the contact's tile.

Of course when Android or iPhone eventually copy this, it'll be praised as revolutionary.

Circles are genuis, Fair more intuitative then usergroups or whatever face book calls it.

Beyond that, this is only just a small taste of what they can do and once they start hooking in all the products they have into it (docs, calendar etc) it will essentially be the all in one portal which no other site offers.

Ohh and the tards won't come across for another year or 2 meaning its the place to be.

With that in mind, I expect to see FaceBook themes coming soon... a la myspace.

Today, my father asked if I'm on Google+ yet, since he apparently already is. LOLOLOL
First time he started using computer was 5 years ago! He still isn't too sure how to copy/paste shit.

There ya go.

Also, I would like to know where is that hilarious gif taken from, the one posted in the last post on page 1, thank you.
