I wanna register a iphone4 related domain. is this domain legal??? I dont wanna get involved with any legal stuff:eatmousepointer:
 


I don’t think there would be any legal issue, I have seen many websites having similar domains to giant brands.
But you should not even think of getting such a domain name, instead of ranking high, it can have reverse effect on your web rankings. iphone4 is very competitive keyword and obviously, Apple would be your toughest competitor.

Illegal is a harsh term, its just copyright and trademark. I would go for it but with anonymous whois and offshore hosting.
 
you can get away with it if your site dont become too popular and stay under the radar and you are just doing it for the short term!
 
Agree with spiderhunter .. Buy domain and set up a website on it. If you got email from Apple then simply Delete your website. You can hold the domain wihout any problem but you can't create website on it. According to the law , Apple must inform you first before taking any legal action.
