I have had a lot of success with Google Adwords, but i was also looking in to other way's of bringng traffic to the the site. I have tried traffic packages, but all i got was fake hits.

Has anyone tried putting ads in the Penny Saver? I know they deliver up to 1 million homes or more.

I have been curious about this as well. I think some careful consideration of the market segment that reads these ad sheets could make them a valuable tool.

But from what I have found, it seems that they might not be economical. I guess I better try it out and see.

Hey, it worked for Don Lapre.

Penny Saver charges like $75.00 a week and you got to committ to a month i think. Im thinking of trying it ,but im not sure if it converts well.

I tried the online Penny Saver and did not get many conversions. They don't get as much traffic as the Penny Saver in print .

Do NOT listen to ANYONE here when they tell you it cant be done

They are all your competition and will stab your back as soon as you turnaround

Test for yourself and see.

Put an ad in for a $50 brand new wii and tell them they have to go to yourdomain.com for more info, then have the domain do a redirect to a zip submit.

What about that penny saver thing!

I wonder If this Penny Saver thing might not be useful. I had not thought of this. I do wonder how much a ad in the penny saver might cost?

Does any one have any idea about this. Also, what other good offline cheap Advertising opportunities might be out there.

It is very hard to get going when you are a newbie with almost no cash to get started. But I am the determined type

warass... thats a good one..

but yes i try the wii thing to zip submit, that didnt work. Im going to try somemore ideas soon..

you guys need to brainstorm somemore in here..

You put a ad in a paper for a zip submit? I can see why that did not work.

As I stated in my other post that always gets overlooked, I had a GREAT run with entertainment books via newsprint last holiday season.

Im not going to retype what I did before , its up to anyone to read it. Everyone complains about not making $ but yet half the shit thats on this site gets ignored.

No, you tell them you are selling your brand new playstation 3, wii, sister, etc. for $50 and to visit a url for more info and to get into contact with you. When they check out the url it redirects them to a zip submit for the said product (Free Nintendo Wii enter zip here --> _ _ _ _ _ , etc.)

waraas, that is what you did right?

Fpr those of us who were not around WF at the time of your post, we sure would like a link or at least a hint of the title of the post for easy searching. Thanks.

The are ways to get tons of traffic to your site without having to spend lots of money on some tiny ad that maybe only eight people will read.

Alright, despite the warnings, I have taken the plunge.

I have an offer for a free giftcard that I'm running on americanclassifieds.com. They have local distribution where I live, and all three cities included have their own store that my gift card is for.

Here's my ad copy:

"FREE MACY'S GIFTCARD! We have access to an exclusive offer that only requires your email and a short form. Log on right now! Supplies Limited! "

And then of course, my url. I put it in the coupons section. All in all, the ad will run for eight weeks (they put out a new issue each week) and cost $48.00. It seems like a decent price to me.

Anyway, I'll update with my results as they come in.
