In regards to the google adsense... They say you can have 3 of there ads up on a site. Is it better if i only have one or two per site to help control the number of impressions minus the actual clicks?

Or any other general advise on adsense would be great...

It depends, you need to try it out and test.

I reduced the number of boxes from 3 to 1 and sometimes 2 (depending on the page layout) on one of my sites and my earnings got better

there are less spots available, only the high bidders will be served so you don't risk someone clicks on a fucking $ 0.01 ad

this might not be a general rule, ir probably depends also on the amount of content you have

IF you have a very competitibe advertising niche you can have 3 ad units showing high paying advertisers

I use the channels to see what ads are performing better. I find the skyscaper converts the best on my sites and layout. This is with only 2 ads per page. I have been considering adding a 3rd; however after this thread, I dont' think I will. Thanks!

To Over simplify this 3 ad blocks on one page will make you less per click then 1 ad block will on one page.

Assuming your CTR is the same with 1 ad block as with 3 ad blocks.
