Government crashes citizen's $750,000 Ferrari; refuses to compensate victim

Judge Avern Cohn said in his recent decision that the crash of the 1995 F50 sports car was "certainly unfortunate," but cited a law making the government immune to lawsuits when property is in custody of law enforcement.

fuck the government

Government have the power. They can give any order without any reason.1st we should chose those people who sense us.
We should not blame government, still us his supervision.Time duration completed now we have right to push him out.

The thing that fuckin pisses me off is that the stupid FBI honky seized the car because it was stolen and decided to use it to go on a joyride.

Michigan-based Motors Insurance believes an agent and a federal prosecutor were out for a joyride in Lexington, Ky., in 2009 when the agent lost control of the Ferrari.

I want to know who this agent and federal prosecutor are. I want to look at their sleazy-ass mugs. Is it unethical or illegal to dox people like this?

My wife recently had a book of naturalization practice test questions/answers written by the U.S. government and one of them was "What is rule of law?" with the correct answer being "Nobody is above the law".

didn't this happen years ago? (was in my home town) Wouldn't the insurer of the vehicle be the one to cover it anyway? Either way somebody better of lost their job over that shit.

According to the article it happened in 2009. It sounds like the insurance company was trying to sue the FBI.
