There are a couple ding-dongs that owe my business a combined $1,200 and I plan on taking everything to a collections agency.

I would like to hire 3-4 collections agencies at once to annoy them.

Has anyone used more than 1 debt collector at a time? Is it legal?

There are the guys I've contacted so far - http://www.rapidrecoverysolution.com/

You cant use more than 1 at a time for a particular debt. If one dont collect then they will usually sell of the debt to another one and so on

Haha, that is awesome. I could see a service marketed like doing well.

Ah, thx. I would love to have 10 diff agencies calling these guys to collect.

Nobody says it has to be an agency that calls them. You could easily find a script to blow up there phone for a few days anonymously.

Do you have signed, dated, and legally binding contracts with these "ding dongs"?
They are signed and dated but the legality of them doesn't matter as it's chump change.

If you spend any more than 3-4 hours of your time on this (personally I'd spend about 20 minutes buying a $40 metal softball bat) you should have your head examined.
The guys pissed me off pretty bad.

I've had a couple other invoices non-paid but the clients communicated and I had no problem settling at a significantly reduced rate. I would pay a collections agency 100% of the collected if they could guarantee serious irritation.
