Nelly to perform at ASW during the MaxBounty Presents The Affiliate Ball 1/9/12 RSVP

Busta and I had a deal, he verbally agreed and was about to sign the contract. The problem was, he needed to wait to sign the deal because he just signed with Lil Waynes label and they need to set up studio time in January. We couldn't wait anymore because parties like this needs to promote the sponsors. Hard to promote fully until people know who's headlining.

This happens all the time when I throw parties. I usually have a plan b, c, d and e ready to go incase things don't happen. Flo Rida almost happened too, he just jacked his pricing out of consideration in the week. LMFAO was the first option I had but they also raised their price in the last month or so and was out of the range. Deadmau5 quoted $400k, so all those thinking it's as easy as hiring a big DJ, go ahead and book Deadmau5 for your private party. lol

In the end, Nelly was the more expensive artist (normal booking rate). He was excited to come party with us in Vegas and gave me the super bro deal and was easy to work with. I think it all worked out for the best this time. Plenty more artists to book since we'll be doing these for years to come.

I got a bullet proof vest for all of the future keyboard warrior haters. By the way, I don't think anyone has really started to hate here yet. I'm sure once I book Neil Diamond or turn the Ball into a webmaster talent night I'll get much more hate. Opinions are always welcome even if they don't like our talent, all good. I just know it's hard to hate on booking a top 3 performer of the decade who's last single just went platinum, "Just A Dream". His new album comes out soon in 2012 just around the corner, I'm sure he'll go platinum again.

One final note, our RSVP list is growing faster then any other party I've ever thrown, been doing this over a decade. In this industry, numbers and stats don't lie.

Well fuckin done Darren.

People bitch and moan a lot considering they don't realize the work that you put into organizing a massive FREEEEEEE event for them to go to.

Glad you put some of them in their place.

I'm pumped up for Nelly, it is going to be fun as hell.

Pretty good venue considering the event IMO. I don't know about Nelly being one of the biggest artists in music, but great for that event.

INB4 Ian Fernando thinks he's the black guy at the white guy event.

400k would put him at 20 times more expensive than Armin van Buuren if the booking prices on this site are correct....

Armin Van Buuren Booking Agent for Corporate Functions, Events, Keynote Speaking, or Celebrity Appearances

Would much rather have Armin playing. There's quite a few DJs on there...

Above & Beyond = $10,000
Armin Van Buuren = $20,000
DJ Jazzy Jeff = $10,000
Paul Van Dyk = $30,000
Sasha = $30,000

You can even book Britney for $999,999!! lol I hope that comes with extras.

Just play a Deadmau5 cd and then pay someone $50 to wear a mask and move around a bit.

Then according to that site, Jessica Alba, Anna Kournikova, Larry Bird, Flock of Seagulls, Christopher Walken, and Chaz Bono could instead all be booked at the same time for under $400,000.

Tupac and Elvis
