Watch this video when you are ready to rock and roll and let it sink in.

Take notes.

Meditate on its content and what it could mean to your business.

Watch it again.

Take more notes.

Meditate some more

When you are ready to take some action start building a brand/site that you can be proud of and build lasting 'relationships' with your customers vs. just going in for the next 'kill'/'conversion'.

No matter what Matt Cutts throws at ya... If you build relationships with people they will keep finding you. If they 'love' you - they don't give a shit if the guy next door has the same product $5 cheaper. You are their 'friend' and 'buddy'... they LOVE supporting you. They WILL be loyal...

Think long term...

Loved it..

That was great - thanks.

He clarifies at the beginning at and at the end that this IS about ROI, even if it's harder to measure.

To get a discussion going, I'm curious where the ROI comes from in his examples of buying his clients jerseys.

ROI in that instance, remember, is actually the difference in lifetime average customer profit minus the cost of the jersey and the real cost of the cash flow changes...

I have to assume it comes from the story being shared and going viral (even on a small scale), etc, and thus raising average customer value (through other customers as well) and attracting new customers who would not have otherwise become customers.

Thoughts? Do you think (or does he claim anywhere else) that the move can be justified in isolation alone?

You have to marinate on what Vaynerchuk throws at you....I didn't like the guy at first but after reading his books and not hearing that annoying voice, I like his stuff.

I'll check out this vid though for sure. Thanks for the share. +1

Nah, he's a douchebag. Hopefully mostly a stage persona.... I'd assume.

Not true. I got to hang out with him when he came in town for a conference. He's a great guy, acts like that even when not on stage and you can tell he really does give a fuck about others.
