There's nothing wrong with having multiple partners as long as both partners are in on it from the beginning. Don't be changing your mind years into something and then try to shift the rules around.

I would think that most of my youth was uncommitted monogamy (If I'm thinking of it right) which is usually what everyone does in this time period. But apparently prior to the 70's it was perfectly normal to date multiple people at once (guy or gal). Part of me wishes this was still acceptable now a days but I also know with my own personality, I just can't juggle that many guys at once, even if everything is open.
