Godaddy Auctions Question

O Hai Guyz

So I was bidding on Godaddy auctions and I bid 3000 Dollars by a silly mistake.
I am now the highest bidder by default.. and my highest bid is the next increment from the other bidders. About 50 bucks.

So when I win the Auction, do I pay 50 bucks or what?
I won't fucking pay 3000 bucks...

Just want to know how it works....
I have been using Godaddy auction for years, but this have never happened.

Please advise..

Don't quote me on this but i believe you will pay the winning bid. So your max bid is 3k, if the auction closes at $100, you'll pay $100. Beware though, GoDaddy extends the auction if a bid is in the last minute so it can go on forever technically.

Fortunately godaddy is only showing the current highest Bid of some 50 odd buck.. Only I can see the 3000 when I go to my bidding..

Just not sure if I pay 3000 or the winning 60 or so bucks..

PPS: I am already transferring out 130 of my last domain names from godaddy.. This is my chance ;-)

PPPS: And why the fuck do I have to click send EPP by email individually? Is there any way to do it in bulk?

Also I saw that I never bothered to change the admin email of many domains that I acquired from other people.. Sucks to change the email too..

Been there. Call them and say it was a mistake and you don't realize how you bid 3000 bucks. Happens sometimes when you bid 3000 instead of 300. They will remove your bid from the domain name, so you can bid there again.

If you end up winning the domain and don't pay, your auctions account (not the domains account) will be suspended. If you want to get it reinstated, you'll have to call them and pay some fee - which is like $20 per domain for first non-payment (about 50 for second and so on..) but I don't remember exactly what it was.

Just called em up.. They dont open for another 12 hours..
And someone is been bidding.. I proxyoutbidded him and I have already bid about 200 Bucks.. Who the fuckkk....

Does anyone else envision the following situation in blogspotter's house as the price rises?

It's a proxy bid so if someone bids you up it will keep going up by +10 (or whatever the number is on godaddy) until it hits your cap of $3k. So if it ends at $80 you only pay $80, not the whole 3k.
 
If the bid goes too high then maybe you can create a second fake account and bid at $3050. Not sure how it works, but if Godaddy doesn't give you the option to retract a mistaken bid then it's their own fault if someone has to game their system.
 
I won the Auction.. obviously lol... Ended paying a lot more than I thought I would to pay, but well... makes me feel good that it had some demand lol/// and I am not paying at 3000 buck.. holy shitzzz...

But saw some premium domains that I would not have seen. Bidding on a couple premium names for domaining...
