$10 Landing Pages [WF Special]

I am actually also waiting and have not heard a peep.

However, I am sticking with him and opt for waiting it out.

As see it, he is just swamped with stuff.

That offer? RIDICULOUS! He is probably sitting at 100 LPs now and doesn't know where his head is.

So... my week is over tomorrow.

:D:D:D

Ok - let's post it here and take a quick poll.

How many LP's purchased = 2
How many did you get back = 0
How long ago did you buy it = about a week
If you did, show URL or image = 0

Not flaming yet.. just wondering.

I ordered a landing page from him also, with little guidance. I said 'work some magic' and left it at that. If magic is to happen, I could order 100+ more the next day.

I ordered, paid and he confirmed on 6/1 at 10am CST.

I have not heard a peep either, but will wait it out, as I know offering a good deal can be overwhelming if you are not expecting it.

I ordered one and got a preview of one but didn't get if finished, and I paid and ordered on 5/30

I've also sent 6 PM's since, he responded to the first couple or three but I am still watting

you would think that since he is a WF member that a MOD or Jon would see whats up with this busllshit.

im waiting too nothing paid. I just think he took on too much at once. Logiik just make ammends and get the shit done.

If someone dicks you over, you need to report it to a mod or admin! We don't read every post/thread, especially the ones in this section since there are so few scammers here (we usually catch them in other sections breaking the rules first).

So let's do a head count here..

How many of you paid for something, and have not yet gotten what you've paid for, and from those people, how long has it been?

I'll attempt to get into contact with the seller, and if I can't, or if I he gives some excuse/bullshit answer, then he'll be banned and his information posted for all to see as a scammer. Let's hope for his sake and the ones who spent money that it doesn't get to that.

Logiik's last activity was logged on the forum yesterday, so he HAS been here. Hopefully responding to messages..

I'm hoping that he's just behind because he's taken on too many clients, which is a lesson for you greedy designers/programmers, don't take on more clients than you can actually make a deadline for.

You get what you pay for, $10 for a landing page is craziness. I'm guessing he is swamped and realizing how much his hourly wage is.

Tell your clients what happened, apologize, refund, charge more and take on less jobs next time around. Don't turn a newb mistake into a catastrophe :)

Good lookin out Jon.

Ordered on 5/31. Paid on 6/1. Haven't received anything.

Thanks for looking into this for us.

So let's do a head count here..

How many of you paid for something, and have not yet gotten what you've paid for, and from those people, how long has it been?

Next time someone wants a PROFESSIONAL DESIGN, let me know.
No, it won't be $10, but I'm excellent - and I deliver on time.
I also get paid upon SATISFIED COMPLETION. Nothing up front, unless it's over $1k.

Alright, since everyone is complaining and calling him a scammer: I ordered around 9 pages, paid for 9, got 3 fully coded and 3 previews. So I'll rather side with Ben and John on this, he's very likely swamped with work. Yes, he probably charged too little, and took on too much work at once, but I'm still confident he'll deliver on his promises, even if he won't meet this stated turn-around time (not by a far shot).

Ordered 3. 1 a week ago, 2 later

delivered:
1 preview which was great

I will wait and do not have a grudge (yet), but communication is bad.

CleverLdy... how much?

I paid for 1 site design on the 29th of May.

I agree with the sentiment expressed by people here - I'm not calling him a scammer, and I'm actually happy to wait if it's as good as he says it is, but I'd rather have some damn communication on this.

Yep iv ordered and paid for a page as a tester, about a week ago, so far i have heard from him a couple of times, spoken on aim and have got a preview but no final. I would agree he is just swamped, underestimating how many people here would want to order.

If I was Logik, just post a comment saying your busy and that you will get to everyone as soon as you can.

Will keep posted on when final arrives. So far they look very good. :)

Ordered 2 on 6-1 and 6-2

Nothing yet, just sent a detail of what's needed and logo.

Always answered PM / Email of course it was on those days :Yahoo_29: seams to like answering when it's money coming in -- right away actually.

(( that would only seam to hold us off more if he just posted I'm busy ))

How about showing something?
Saying who's is done recently? ( so that they can confirm )
Who asked for a refund and got it?

I feel a really big Flaming coming ... :glowingeyes_sml:

So, let's take a positive attitude and gather some advice for Logiik and others wanting to start a biz providing content online (or any other biz).

- Communication is King
This applies to "traditional businesses as well. But even more so online. People know nothing of you online but your communication.
A lot of business issues revolve around communication. Good communication is essential. You can get new businesses, revive old biz or save issues with good communication.
Make sure your business is excellent at all times.
Example:
During the preparations for our wedding, my wife and I sent a mail with requests for offers to two restaurants that came recommended.
The first one just sent an envelope with their brochures.
The second one sent a brochure of their restaurant, included a letter telling us that they are looking forward to working with us for the wedding. They invited us for a preliminary talk and even included a sample menu and special quotes for a few rooms as well as recommendations for hotels nearby, as we anticipated about 100 guests.
Guess who got the gig?
Saving your biz is a bit more difficult, but frequent status reports will keep your client happy, even if something goes awry or he has to wait a bit longer.

- Pricing is principal
Think hard about your pricing sturcture.
Think about your desired income/month, think about how long a task will realistically take you and divide.
Yes, special offers are a good way to get customers. Make it too low (hi logiik) and you'll be booked solid for a quarter of your desired or needed income. 100 new customers won't be a good thing if you starve though working.

- Be an underpromiser
Always Underpromise, always overdeliver.
Yes, you can save some of a promise gone south by good communication, but an empty promise leaves a bad aftertaste.
