Guys, I don't want to move to Hong Kong, I just don't want to pay taxes (not American). Is Hong Kong going to tell my country that I've opened this bank account and company?

If US finds out and make a inquiry, then YES. If you know the megaupload case, they freezed all bank accounts in HK.

I did never say do X. All Im saying is that there are option that you dont necessarily know about. What you do with that information is up to you.

Nowhere did I say to trust nobody. Nowhere did I say that you should bank with a bank that is not "certified". Whatever that means? You want to be free but still need a bank to be certified by some kind of authority. Can you explain to me how you want to pay lower taxes but still need the government to be involved in every fuckin issue under the sun? Maybe their high taxes are justified after all, if you really need them to keep everything in check. Other than your very own privacy of course. But the ridiculous neighbours or the rednecks should totally be monitored 24/7. Not that they do something stupid.

Hawala is crude way to bypassing the banking system. I can guarantee you that 75% of hawala money is routed through and to terrorists and drug dealers.

Not quite. All that is true, but there's the extra caveat that you have to be a tax resident of some country, in order to be exempt from Canadian income tax. If you can't prove you paid personal income tax in another country, the Canadian government is going to say you owe them.

Did a wire transfer yesterday and it went through in half a day same as usual so no impact yet. Future is uncertain, of course, since it may take time for banks to fall in line and do the extra scrutiny required by the blacklisting. Or maybe for wires under US$10k there is no issue.

Exactly. Especially if cost of living is cheap where you live. Incorporate in say HK, so 0% corporate tax, except sales from HK residents which is 16%. Then pull out what you need for living, and pay income tax on that, exempting you from Canadian income tax. Let the rest sit in the corp at 0%, and invest it if possible.

If you're making $500k/month it's probably a stupid setup, but for a small guy like me, it works perfectly. Plus it's 100% legal and legit, so there's none of this evasive bullshit, and going to sleep every night hoping you don't get caught, etc...
