Anyone else see a large rebellion happening in the US soon?

I think the republicans are fucked this time around and I think they know it which is why no real candidates are in the race.

I also think that Dick Morris or someone like him is running polls 18 hrs a day to see how we can get a 70 year old woman into the white house in 2016. Hillary says, she wont run, but she will.

Love em or hate em the GOP acts as a safety valve for a lot of pissed off working class white people who are being marginalized demographically and politically.

These are the types who fought the revolutionary war, not the fags who wrote the constitution. I don't think that there will be too much left for them over the next 20 years or so.

Revolutionary war was fought over the idea of a 4% tax, most of ue are paying 45% to 50% today, all things considered. That number has to rise just to keep us treading water.

I'm thinking that there will be some small "uprisings" followed by at least an organized attempt to get something bigger going in a few key areas.

Don't know if it will actually take off, but if a few military types get involved it could at least be interesting.

I think that at some point during the Hilary presidency someone is going to make a move.

Anyone else?
 


Thats a lot of ifs that have to happen to get the middle majority to take to the streets. Anything is possible but I think quality of life will have to suffer a whole lot more to get people to take drastic action like that.

give me a break. they aren't even rebelling in greece yet (and their economy is 100x worse), except some people protesting... yawn.
 
No. Just a lot of complaining, and then back to being wage slaves, soccer moms and watching idiot "reality" shows on TV.

I don't think its going to be widespread at first. I think though that there will be enough support for a few hundred people to start fucking up some shit on a serious level though.

Maybe a hundred or so people try to take over some piss-ant bridge or a post office somewhere. Just little dumb ass aggressive acts that start to spiral out of control, and flare up in different places.

I think that most people realize that then next 50 years are going to see some major changes and are pretty much cool with it. But the hardcore core isn't cool with it, has nothing to lose, and pretty soon will be little more than a fringe element that is well armed and highly motivated.

America is actually a pretty violent country when you look at the facts and not the feel-good bullshit that they slip between the mass cullings in the history books.

That can't happen. They will immediately use the media to brand those citizens as terrorist at which case the brainwashed "public" will immediately call for the government/police to stop it for their "safety".

It would need to be done a mass / planned out level. It would need to be led and well thought out. I'm not sure that's possible right now for many different reasons.
 
I see tremendous growth in the Ron Paul r3VOLution and sadly too many people Fail to see it as an actual revolution instead of just some support for a candidate... These are all people who are sick of the status quo, MIC-controlled government that we don't have any option to keep voting in each time.

If It's not Paul then it would be someone else perhaps Gary Johnson.

It will take a few more years to get this fully underway of course, assuming Ron doesn't win. By then I'll be happily living on some other continent, but I could easily see the r3VOLution, #Occupy, the Tea Party, and some other disgruntled anti-status-quo groups coming together to fight Obama one way or another once Obama's back in and starts passing some more terrible laws next year.
 
Gerald Celente is predicting a major tax revolt in 2012, and by 2014 things to get really ugly in major cities. He says that New York City will be more like Mexico City, and that we will see a lot of kidnappings for ransom money just like in central and south america.

He also predicts smaller towns doing better. Communities will organize in a way that work, shopping, etc, will be walking distance. Communities will have to work together because they won't be able to rely on the states or federal government for help.
 
I'm staying out of this... just too complicated.

One thing is for sure, don't trust the media. But once you do that, you knowledge is 0.

yea Luke i completely agree. nothing pisses me off more than when i hear my dad or my Gfs mom talk about how they really like Ron Paul, but that he'll never win. I'm like "You dumbasses! just support him and show your support if you really want him to win" that's the change we need, not just "O he'll never win so why bother to do anything"

the other thing that greatly infuriates me is when the media and pretty much everyone in the world sees that Ron Paul is overwhelmingly being supported by our countries youth! IMO that demographic holds waaaay more weight than any of the other demos. They'll all die soon, and WE are going to be the ones running the fucking country, it's our future not theirs! goddamn
