Anyone else see a large rebellion happening in the US soon?

today america is too lazy to properly rebel... hence dude posting his frustrations on a seo internet forum while sitting at a comp sipping coffee.
Greek's economy is not much worse than US. Just look at debt per person numbers. Most countries are complete crap. The only reason everything is stable is cause food and gas prices are stilll cheap here. Once war with Iran starts, gas hits like 10 bucks per gallon, dollar collapses, the fun will start.
I think we have a bit of time to prepare before Elections. So we need to prepare asap. Just my dumb ass opinion of course.
I doubt seriously that there will ever be open revolution in the streets in this country. If it didn't happen during the GW's Presidency over the war / spending issues, I doubt it would happen now or ever without something huge going painfully awry.
Its a lot different "up rising" against the military today, then it was back then. Back then....we had guns, military had guns....no big difference. Now a days, We got guns...but they have fucking tanks, predator drone planes, navy seals, etc. lol....its just not the same.

Revolution of ideas, yes. It has been happening the last hundred plus years. Civil rights, woman suffrage, prohibition, womans lib, conservatism, progressivism. Probably not on the scale you are thinking, but they are peaceful revolutions getting laws passed.

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh ,
had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent

points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:
Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1

Our country is so fucked up. I went to a party last night that was closed down by the cops at 9pm. There was no crimes being committed, it was because there was so many motorcycles. The cops threatened to have the motorcycles impounded. Yet it is LAPD policy that if an illegal alien is caught without their drivers license, they will not impound the car if a licensed driver can come to pick up the car.
I have major problems with some of the things I have seen the the LAPD do.
I don't know, you Americans are pretty fucken crazy (in a good, loving way), so I wouldn't put it past you. I wouldn't mind seeing that though. 500,000 armed citizens show up at the gates of the Whitehouse. "Hi! We're here to take our country back, but thanks for playing though!".
fvaldes' situation with Obama spilling the beans on TV is impossible of course, and even if it were possible it doesn't mention what Obama does next or offers to the american people in response.
But if we take a more realistic scenario; such as someone with definitive proof put onto a youtube vid or something that Anonymous makes sure that everyone sees so the worlds' media can't ignore...
Then there is likely a large enough population of people with guns and hatred of Obama to get something started in DC. (Yes, while the majority of US Citizens stay at home and watch it on TV. As long as it doesn't conflict with american Idol, of course.)
The GOP official would also try to use it to remove Obama from power, calling for immediate impeachment, and mouthpieces like Rush and Beck would slant the story into something that serves their purposes more.
It would be interesting, to say the least, but it would have to get past the great firewall of american media first, and like the Paul campaign has learned well, this is likely the hardest step.
