Which hosting in Europe?

Hey guys!

I want to make a website for the European market ( Germany, Eastern Europe, UK ) so everywhere in Europe.

As far as I'm concerned your hosting provider determines the speed of loading your website. I'd go with hostgator but they are based in the US so I'm not sure if it's the best option.

Any recommendations?

OVH is shitty. Do not like them. Well - there are some German hosts like - hosteurope.de, you can also think about some other companies.

Definitely would not recommend OVH (have an account there).

By the way, what's wrong with OVH, any bad experience?

For me I don't really mind where my hosting is physically located. Im in the UK but my hosting is in the US because it's much cheaper and also have had no problem with it in the past 5 years that I've used them. Of course though if you have the money, you should get hosting locally but I don't see the point if you're not creating a big business type website.

I was hosting with LetsHost and Regsiter365 and they are definitely very poor service. My choice is Blacknight, they have servers In Ireland and I think in uk as well, the best hosting providers I've ever used, fast and customer service is great.
