Hi,

Sorry if this double posts (I swear I posted this a few hours ago but it never showed up). Anyway, I've had a project that has been sitting around for about a year untouched and I'm pretty discouraged about continuing it.

I'm looking for offers on the site. The layout looks like this: http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/7479/pgtestv3qr5.gif and I own the dot com of the site so obviously that's included. I'm unsure of selling this right now but I'm trying to see what I can get for it.

So yeah, basically domain + site are possibly up for grabs. I have it coded (valid xhtml/css all that yada) and I also have the site written in php with a mysql database but that was done rather sloppily, but I can fix it up.

Okay, so you found WF, why not use the collective knowledge available here to get your site done instead of selling it? You say the db and php is sloppy and you can fix it up. If you're willing to do that for a buyer, why not yourself? Seems kind of weird to me.

Also, is this listed anywhere else? Are you taking offers, or is this an auction? If so, what is the minimum bid / offer? And when do you stop accepting offers / bids? Will it be sold, or are you just feeling people out?
 
How much tutorials come with the site?, is the .com programmersguide.com or programmersguides.com?

I don't care how sloppy the php or MySQL database is, can you provide some traffic stats?, is the site indexed anywhere?, how about providing us with the actual URL so I can look into this some more.

As mike has stated, is this an auction?, min bid?, approx asking price?

I believe it's ProgrammerGuides.com (programmer is singular).

- The reason I don't do it myself is because I don't believe I can make the project succeed / I'm disinterested in it right now.

- It's an auction per say I guess, I don't really have a minimum offer, I'm just seeing what people consider it worth (layout/domain/code) and if that would be worth it on my end. I'm very interested in selling it as long as I'm satisfied.

- As for traffic, basically nothing, it's been a splash page for a while.
 
Ok I did some research on your site and I've found that its very very lacking in the traffic/backlinks/pr area, there is very little pages indexed in Google, so pretty much your just asking for a domain price. The keyword research I looked into a bit and thats going to require some creativity.

I am interested in buying this because I am a programmer and I like the name and everything but before I give you an offer of what I feel its worth can you please provide me with the next little bit of information.

1) Does it come with the database?
2) If it comes with the database, can I get an approx # of tutorials/guides that it contains?

You can PM me with that info if you want or you can place it here, I don't really care, after that I'll shoot you a offer.
 
There is currently a database with maybe 20 or so tutorials from various sites that I indexed just to test everything out.
