Interesting information in regards to watermarks

Does that work for sites that don't use a semi-transparent watermark? It doesnt look like it would.

I guess it comes down to how high you value your time. How much would that picture had cost you if you bought it? How much time did you use on removing the watermark?

yah, exactly, I can't imagine doing this 100 times. After like the 10th one, I would just be like fuck it and buy all of them.

I did it once. When I needed an icon and didn't feel like paying the $x00 for the entire set.

No, wait. Twice. I did it yesterday too. But that hardly counts. I needed a film frame where I could replace the part where the frame of the movie would have been. I found one and the watermark didn't cover anything at all. Only the white center part I was going to cover anyway

haha.. thats cool.. well i've never looked that much on trying to get rid of watermarks before.. what i really want to get rid of is peoples logo and shit.. i read somewhere about doing it in photoshop if the file is a tiff file.. that you can extract it somehow because when you add the logo on a pic.. or the stamp or whatever you call it.. it's information is saved in there and theres a way to get it out.. but i have no clue myself of course lol

My thoughts too. If you were using high profile pictures, you risk the chance of someone coming after you.

If you are using generic images, there are so many sources where you can get images for almost nothing, it would make no sense to do this unless it took you like 10 seconds, which it clearly will not.
