Creating a "Guest Posting" Section on WF?

Create a new section. Call it the Gay Webmaster Exchange and I guarantee newcomers will stay the fuck out of it.

Seriously, it's an interesting idea. My suggestion is to start small--maybe not as a full section but a thread in Traffic and Content. If it gets enough traction, the mods would have a reason to make it into a sub-section there or an entirely different section.

And I do agree that it should be either invite-only or restricted to users based on age of account or total posts.

I've exchanged a few via pm already, this could be cool but would need some strict guidelines and there's probably very few people I'd trust to do it with.

I'll gain your trust in 12 seconds...

I'm always interested. I've got a nice pr3 health domain about to be a year old with a nice PA/DA I'd be willing to offer guests posts on.

Why does there need to be an entire section? Just post a damn thread in the traffic section... which - ironically - is already dedicated to SEO. Interesting...

I guarantee it would be popular enough for it's own section.
1 thread would get too messy and nobody would actually get what they wanted out of it because all the requests would get lost, and if all the requests were posted in seperate threads in T+C all the actual traffic and content chat would get lost.

It would need it's own subsection so everybody could request/offer niche specific guest posts at will, and people could quickly browse the first page for posts relating to their niche

Interested but worried about completely outing my 19 sites that I'm willing to take guest posts on.

There's a business idea in here too. An SAAS niche blog post trading system. Reviews on different users and their sites maybe. Writing must be checked too.

You're already outing your sites if you're buying services from the BST thread or if you're buying content.

except this is no "gaming" nigga. I believe Matt Cutts himself recommended Guest Posting as a way to acquire natural backlinks...

No. There's nothing natural about buying guest posts. It's a paid link so it should be indicated as such with the rel=nofollow tag.

Great idea
+1 for separate private section for this. Lets do this thing. It can really benefit everyone!

The fuck you talkin bout willis? Nobody said anything about buying/selling. This would be straight up trading.
You give me a quality, niche relevent article for my site, I give you a backlink within that content in return. It's about as whitehat as linkbuilding gets. We're not talking about buying links with spun content on dropped PR domains here

Bunch of them already exist

I'm in. That sounds like great idea. My suggestion is to place GP thread under "Traffic& Content" and divide by 5-10 main niches (general, health,business,tech,...)

The key in GP is to follow your niche and place link on blog and in post which is related with your blog.

Notes for admins/moderators: Go and see how Ann Smarty is doing on mybloguest and all c/p all good ideas.

And, I'm for restricted access to these threads (only with invitation or with xxx posts and xx+iTrader)...
