Clickbooth Sinking?

Wether you guys like Clickbooth or not, none of this stuff is good for Affiliate Marketing.

The last thing we need is more bad publicity bringing heat to our businesses..

i agree this industry doesn't need a bigger black eye... but networks engaging in shady practices is what brings the bad publicity in the first place.
 
This industry has been abused since the start. People have been exploiting consumers for literally ten years, and the government is starting to [think they] understand the industry, so they're finally catching up and doing some major work to clean it up -- which doesn't mean they're doing a good job by any means. My main concern is that they have people who simply don't understand the industry developing the laws and rules that regulate us. We'll see what happens..
 
I would like to think that every network who has a Zip submit offer is still dealing in shady practice. I mean whoever gets a Pink Iphone 4s for submitting her email addy. And what the fuck does participation required mean? Free trial with illegible TOS was ok at one point of time... We have all run those offers at one point of time.... We all knew it was wrong, but we had a million justifications.. Just because FTC doesn't say it's not OK doesn't mean, we wait for them to come after Affs and networks... What we need right now aren't lobbyists to make good LAWs for us, but some self regulation. You know like Model code of conduct and suchlike?

Hello friend,

But purpose of affiliate marketing is for scam other to make money fast. If no scam then no make money.

You create product like acai, free government money or make google money at home and try make as much money as possible fast before people figure it scam or government shut down.

Then you take profit and create new product for repeat process.
