Birther Revival

Most of the hate coming from AZ isn't from people born and raised in AZ...lots of old cranks retire to the area and bring their distrust with them. And the motherfuckers vote, hence the continual circus.

What would it take to convince you that it was a real birth certificate? This is why he should have never shown it in the first place, you're always going to find some flaw with it and turn it into some conspiracy theory anyway.

I looked at my birth certificate (Admittedly it's Australian, so not really comparable) and it's all sorts of fucked up, stamp is all over the place and smudges everywhere.

I'll answer your question because I asked you one as well, for me to believe it was faked I'd need to hear a coherent argument as to why it would be faked. Let's look at this quote from above:

My question to you is "If you knew you weren't born in America would you even bother running for president?"

You would if someone like a MIC bigwig or CIA director said "Oh that? Don't worry about that trifling shit for one second. We got people to take care of that kind of crap."

Now let's assume there is some giant conspiracy and the CIA/MIC and all the bigshots are involved, surely they can fake a birth certificate? And if they can't, why would they select a candidate that needed one faked in the first place?

I just don't believe that this super elite is going to risk themselves with this type of scandal when it could have been easily avoided if they have the power you're hinting they do.

I'm sure the US govt hides a shit load from all of us and it's good to be continually questioning their actions but at some stage you need to surely let things go, chill out and have a cup of tea.

I really fucking hate that libs/dems/Obama fans pull the race card any time anyone is the least bit critical and/or suspicious of his past and his behavior.

It's a fucking get out of jail card for life signed by idiots with so-called "white guilt"

Ummm, no... it's the fact the state of Hawaii has confirmed his birth, both short & long form copies have been released, he has photos of himself as a kid in Hawaii, and so on.

I mean, what else would you like to see happen?

Saying a image program picked apart a PDF file, and turned it into layers isn't exactly very good proof. That's what image analyzing programs do. Break shit into layers.

I'm wondering what the birthers actually think would happen if they were somehow proven right. I don't hear this talked about very much, but I suspect they believe that if Obama is not entitled to hold the office of the President, then the entire country gets a big fucking do-over. Maybe they'd just like to see him prosecuted for treason...either way, it's a backward kind of vindictiveness, and if they had spent 1/8 the time they spent trying to prove Obama is not an American citizen on trying to find an American citizen who could reasonably oppose him in 2012, they might have had a chance at fielding a candidate who stood a chance at winning the election.

Yep. this.

My birth certificate (fuck it, this is GERMAN, we are talking major bureaucracy here) is from the 70s. Smudges, creases, illegible handwriting, the fucking works.

For the birthers, I'd probably be deported to Poland or somesuch.

Kinda like when people avoid the "I may be racist" thoughts by playing the "white guilt" card.

With regards to the birther shit. WHO FUCKING CARES. There are way more alarming things about his presidential legacy that really don't include his color or his place of birth.

The Republican Party has much better candidates, they're just saving them for 2016 because they knew Obama would get reelected so they figured why bother wasting the talent. Plus, it gets Romney and Ron Paul out of their hair. That's what's so awesome about political parties, you get to make them more important than the welfare of the country.

That's true, we just need our more liberal brothers and sisters to start realizing this. You see it now because you hang out here with us retards, but most don't.

Suppose the presented birth certificate is fake. Suppose further it is proven that Obama is not a citizen. What would be your solution to the matter?

Should Obama be dethroned? Should Biden replace him? Should an interim POTUS be installed until the next election?

More to the point, is it preferable to install another tyrant? If so, why?

These are serious questions, if only to ponder.

Of course he's done other shit that is horrible, but here's why I think it's important:

If it's proven in court that his presidency is invalid then it also invalidates a lot of the other BS that sheeple refuse to accept. In other words, it's a mass wakeup call. The more people that are awake, the more likely we are to get someone like RP in in office.

It doesn't matter. His supporters will support him regardless, and his detractors will still despise him. The average American doesn't give a shit about that clause in the Constitution. The average American doesn't care about NDAA or NDRP - why would they care about that? All it does is give people an opportunity to paint any Obama detractors as nutjobs and racists.

There are hardcore Obama supporters that would defend him if he decided to drop a nuke on NYC, but there are also moderates that supported him because they honestly thought he was a different kind of president. Now obviously, thinking people just look at his senate voting record and recognize what slime bag he is, but most people don't think. But even if only a couple of million more people finally wake up because they realize this whole system is a sham, then it's been an effective tool IMO and worth pursuing.

As a conservative I personally think we should stay away from the birther stuff. Yes it looks suspicious and covered up, but so do a lot of things in his past. It's way too late to dwell on that stuff now. He's president already, and working on getting elected for a second term.

We should be focusing our efforts on the crazy things he's doing as president. If the Supreme Court overturns Obama care this week - then we have judicial evidence that supports what we've been claiming all along - and it is that Obama has been bypassing the constitution in an effort to enforce his progressive will on America. And then we can only hope that this Country will not elect a President that does not choose to stay within the bounds of the constitution.

A quick thought experiment.

What if there was no such thing as a President? What if Obama is just playing a role, previously played by Bush Jr, Clinton etc?

What if he doesn't actually do anything except make speeches and appearances?

What if the power he wields doesn't come from his office or democratic authority, but from your own belief in a system that isn't really there?

food for thot.

^^^^^This is absolute truth...no what ifs. I have seen behind the curtain and guess what, you can too!

TRAGEDY AND HOPE is a lively, informed and always readable view
of our not quite One World of today, seen in historical perspective.
Quigley has already shown his command of the kind of historical
perspective seen in the a world like that of Toynbee and Spengler; but
unlike them he does not so much concern himself with projections from
a distant past to a distant future as he does with what must interest
us all much more closely - our own future and that of our immediate
descendants. He uses the insights, but in full awareness of the
limitations of our modern social sciences, and especially those of
economics, sociology, and psychology. Not all readers will agree with
what he sees ahead of us in the near future, nor with what he thinks
we should do about it. But all will find this provocative and
sometimes provoking book a stimulus to profitable reflection.
David Brinton

TRAGEDY AND HOPE shows the years 1895-1950 as a period of
transition from the world dominated by Europe in the nineteenth
century to the world of three blocs in the twentieth century. With
clarity, perspective and cumulative impact, Professor Quigley examines
the nature of that transition through two world wars and a worldwide
economic depression. As an interpretative historian, he tries to show
each event in the full complexity of its historical context. The
result is a unique work, notable in several ways. It gives a picture
of the world in terms of the influence of different cultures and
outlooks upon each other; it shows, more completely than in any
similar work, the influence of science and technology on human life;
and it explains, with unprecedented clarity, how the intricate
financial and commercial patterns of the West prior to 1914 influenced
the development of today's world.

Carroll Quigley, professor of history at the Foreign Service
School of Georgetown University, formerly taught at Princeton and at
Harvard. He has done research in the archives of France, Italy and
England, and is the author of the widely praised "Evolution of
Civilizations." A member of the editorial board of the monthly Current
History, he is a frequent lecturer and consultant for public and semipublic
agencies. He is a member of the American Association for the
Advancement of Science, the American Anthropological Association, and
the American Economic Association, as well as various historical
associations. He has been lecturer on Russian history at the
Industrial College of the Armed Forces since 1951 and on Africa at the
Brookings Institution since 1961, and has lectured at many other other
places including the U.S. Naval Weapons Laboratory, the Foreign
Service Institute of the State Department, and the Naval College at
Norfolk, Virginia. In 1958, he was a consultant to the Congressional
Select Committee which set up the present national space agency. He
was collaborator in history to the Smithsonian Institution after 1957,
in connection with the establishment of its new Museum of History and
Technology. In the summer of 1964 he went to the Navy Post-Graduate
School, Monterey, California, as a consultant to project Seabed, which
tried to visualize what American weapons systems would be like in
twelve years.

Don't mean to derail your thread Luke, but this shit is important for people to be exposed to.

Just a heads up, I lose my birth certificates all the time.. so I don't even have an original one. I buy replacements through a company online. I'm sure they print them a lot different then when I was born in 1989. This could be why Obama's birth certificate could be off when compared to originals.

Just a tht.
