Going to Montreal jul 5-8 and party my heart out with some friends. I'm looking for some destination area crowded with lot of hot chicks. Any recommendation?

I've also looked at MontrealVIP and Montreal NiteLife Tour. Both seem to offer good service. Let me know if you guy been with them and if you could recommend one or the others, or any night clubs, strip clubs, hotels...etc..

I live in Montreal. I'll set you up bro.

Don't bother with those companies. It doesn't matter here. Montreal has 3 streets for party life, crescent which is good for bars, St.Catherines good for strip clubs and St.Laurent which is good for clubs.

hmm, I'm too tired now to write anything else. Pm if you got questions.

Montreal is dope btw.

I`m not from Montreal but I can vouch for this.

What you may want to look in to ahead of time is finding a few clubs that you want to go to and calling them ahead of time to see if you can set something up where you can bypass any line....waiting in line to get in to a club sucks.

Is aria still open? that place was fun for after-hours and had real good DJs most of the time.

Montreal = Awesome time!

I went there for a bachelor party and the NHL All-Star game a few years back. JFizzle is right, there are a few dedicated streets to party on. The strip clubs are awesome and so are the bars. We hung out at Churchill's a lot before going out for the night. There was some HOT bartenders there too!

lol 3 party streets? You guyz are funny!

I'm from Montreal, although I've moved to the west coast a while ago.

St-Laurent, Ste-Catherine and Crescent are the obvious party spots. It's also the most touristy areas. The crowd on Crescent st. is like 80% foreign (North-East U.S. & Ontario mainly) and you'll find a LOT of 18-19 year old American dudes and dudettes that can't drink legally in the U.S. so they come get hammered in Montreal. I don't know how old you are, but be ready to party with kids if you go there, unless you choose one of the classier places there like Newtown. (if it still exists lol)

If you want to meet hot LOCAL chicks and practice your French (lol), you gotta hit Mont-Royal St., St-Denis, The Old Port (classy bars there so be ready!), or even the North part of St-Laurent.

Whatever you do, make sure you hit La Banquise at 4 A.M. when you're done partying. Best Poutine in the city! Fuck I miss that place.

During the day there will be shitloads of festivals so make sure you check them out. You can also go to the Mont-Royal park or Piknik Eletronik at the Jean-Drapeau island.

As a Torontonian, it`s the local spots I look to avoid. Quebecers hate English speaking Canadians. If you are from another country and can only comunicate speaking English, it`s fine, however if you are Canadian and cannot speak French, they hate you. That`s my experience anyway.

Yeah I have to agree, not all of them are like that though, but many are.

And you're right, those guys seem to have no problem with Americans, British, Australians and other foreigners not speaking French, but if you're Anglo-Canadian, it's a different story lol

You have to understand them though, Quebec in North America is like Israel in the Middle East. They're surrounded by English people north, west, south and east. They're trying hard to protect the French language which is less and less spoken every year because all new immigrants coming into Canada choose English over French.

Oh I agree 100% that they should protect it. As a kid with immigrant parents, I already speak multiple languages. French would have been my 4th. I did my best through high school to continue my French classes, even well past the compulsory classes, however the need for French in my real world was non existent, and now I have barely retained any of it.

Visited several Canadian cities. The hottest girls were in Montreal. With so many educational institutions (according to wikipedia Montreal has the highest proportion of post-secondary students of all major cities in North America) it'd be actually hard not to find spots to at least try to meet one of these chicks.

They're all busy protesting...good luck.

fucking amazing. And sounds like i'm gona sarge a bunch of 18-19 years old. I guess I'll be ok with that if that's all they have.

Confirm this shit. There's way more than 3 party streets in montreal, in fact if you think there's 3 party streets in montreal, it makes me wonder if you've ever partied in montreal?

Am living in the old port right now, and I wouldn't go too far to party on ANY of those streets. Mainly cause that's where ALL the douchebags with their tight shirts go.

I guess what it comes down to is what you're into?

Are you into shitty top 40s music? (go to crescent street and jump into one of their shitty ass clubs)

Or do you prefer techno/house/tech-house?

Or maybe you like electro/dubstep/glitch?

Maybe you just like warehouse raves?

Because depending on all of these you'd have to go to different places.

The 3 party streets, that's horrible bullshit. Yes there are lots of people there, mostly buffed up guys in tight shirts trying to start shit.

Enjoy.

If you want hot sexy babes, I wouldn't go out at night, there's enough during the day and they'll invite you to whatever bars they are going to that night.

If you want to go party ... here's what I would rec ...

bars = madhatters / mckibbens irish pub (lots of english speakers there)

I don't really give a shit about bars though, cause when I get drunk what I wanna do is dance.

Belmont = dubstep/electro (mostly dubstep, not really my thing)

Salon Daome = house/techno (really packed on Fridays, all right on Saturday, best to check who's playing)

Club UN = techno/house (usually good on saturdays, sucks on Fridays typically but this place is hit and miss)

Cherry (also known as Beaver Hall) = lots of good upcoming DJs here, also techno/house ... great if you like nasty ass places with beautiful people.

Velvet Speakeasy = Depending on the night, underage girls + house/techno, sometimes the music really sucks. Nice venue though, worth at least checking out.

Telus Centre = good artists play at this venue, but you have to check and see if there's anyone worth seeing there during your stay.

Bain Matheiu = public bathing pool which was converted into a club, if there's a good event going on, definitely worth checking out.

Loft Parties = the ultimate way to experience Montreal partying. Getting in can be tough if you don't know anyone though (good luck bros).

If you're up for some after hours stuff, check the night and go to Stereo, usually it's a bunch of people high on drugs and gay dudes dancing with their shirts off, so you might wanna stay away since you're not going for the music anyways?

But seriously, if you wanna get laid ... meet girls during the day, your success to quality ratio will be much higher ... if you're half decent they'll have no hesitation inviting you out to party with them.

Oh you live in Montreal eh?

Cool story brah.

First off, I wish I could muster the energy argue with you but it's Friday and the patio is calling me. Great day in montreal eh buddy? - That is if you live here. Oh and btw, I can guranatee that the places you mentioned you probably only went once or twice. Also St.Laurent is for douches? Dude you mentioned Stereo, that is on the fucking gay street on montreal.. Come on Bra....

Someones upset. I hope you put your tight shirt on before you left to go sit on the patio :p

Here's something OP might like if he's into this kind of music: DADA LIFE Montreal - DADA LIFE at TELUS Theatre - Jun 8, 2012 10:00 pm | Eventful

Fizzle don't be a little bitch "muster the energy to argue" ... like I said it all depends on what kind of experience you're looking for.

My point is there's more to Montreal than the 3 party streets. And the best parties I've been to, were on none of those streets.

As for the gay clubs, what's your problem? Got a little homophobia?

Man up and get over yourself. Good music on one of North Americas best sound systems = good time dancing.

If you're upset cause there's some gay men in the club, fuck what can I say, stay on your patio with your tight shirts. It's better that way for both of us, so why argue when we quite clearly agree?
