Ron Paul concedes defeat in primary

Let me be very clear. Dr. Paul is NOT dropping out or suspending his campaign.

So while our campaign is no longer investing in the remaining primary states, we will continue to run strong programs at District and State Conventions to win more delegates and alternate delegates to the National Convention.

How the fuck do you use a computer if you can't read?

No he's ending spending on primaries because they're pointless and expensive. He's continuing to pick up delegates.

"Unfortunately, barring something very unforeseen, our delegate total will not be strong enough to win the nomination. Governor Romney is now within 200 delegates of securing the party’s nod. However, our delegates can still make a major impact at the National Convention and beyond.

All delegates will be able to vote on party rules and allow us to shape the process for future liberty candidates."

It sounds like he is conceding to me. When i say conceding, I mean acknowledging that he isn't going to win the primary. That's why i put 'defeat in primary.' Am I reading this article completely wrong? It seems like now he is just trying to make a statement and pave the way for future candidates like him.

^That particular line shows me for sure that this is a misdirection tactic. From all 1st-hand delegate totals, we're fully in the lead, with more delegates so far than Mittens might ever get. Of course the campaign manager would know this... So it's got to be a lie to misdirect someone, and I'm guessing that someone is the Romney would-be-delegates.

And don't forget:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuTXPWec_LU]Most Inspiring Ron Paul Video - rEVOLution ON FIRE! - YouTube[/ame]

(Awesome New video today!)

That sort of video has never really been inspiring to me.. So what, 3k-7k people show up at events for RP. That means dick to me when you consider your average couch potato fox/cnn/msnbc watching guy sees it and thinks to himself, "Obama and Romney must have 50k fans at each of his appearances!" It does nothing to further his popularity imo. The first part was the best.

Especially when they're all rallies held at california universities. That's such a weak ass turnout for a presidential rally, I can't believe anyone would brag about it.

You're totally delusional. Prepare to be disillusioned.
No, I'm in the thick of it, I see and hear stuff that the media simply won't report on, like how we've totally dominated almost every convention to date, even the one in Romney's home state.

You should have been watching the ustreams this last weekend when OK and AZ were BOTH repeats of Missouri a couple months back... The old guard repugs, (Always) in the minority these days, got a little violent, broke every other rule in the book, turned off the lights and declared the conventions over... All to have us go out in the parking lot, hold the convention according to the actual rules, and score landslide victories for Paul both times.

But what was more impressive to me is the massive, MASSIVE support those delegates got from the rest of us. One guy running a ustream ran low on batteries so ppl at the DailyPaul chipped in for some more batteries and got them sent to the scene immediately through another local DPer... Then when it ran long, another ChipIn was held for Pizzas.. For EVERYONE! It was awesome. We literally fueled them to stay late and work hard to overcome tyranny, and they were able too. TWICE IN ONE DAY.

You think Robme has a support structure like that? Lulz.

Bottom line is, that delegates and delegates alone nominate the GOP candidate, and only 2 of the many states so far have NOT seen clear Paul majorities in delegate elections.

Yeah I'm not sure about the misdirection tactic. That link was posted by Ron Paul's facebook.
...And?

I don't care if it was posted by toilet paper artwork; if it got said at all by anyone close to the campaign; the outcome was extremely predictable: The MSM would use it to make Romney look like the clear winner yet again.

It looks like it worked on you morons, so I rest my case.

I haven't seen any delegate count (including the link in lukep's sig) that shows ron paul anywhere but hopelessly behind.
You don't need to see counts anymore; we've outright won majority delegate elections in all but two of the state conventions held to date, and no one is denying this! -It's just not being reported on.

There's a difference and you should feel very ashamed for not seeing the difference before now.

I really posted that vid because of the opening; but yeah, the uninformed masses of ubersheeple would of course assume that romneys crowds are far larger if they saw this. (Oh the irony.)

Those crowdshots are obviously put there in hopes that the film will be viewed by smarter folk, perhaps ppl who are just waking up or who have been through an election cycle before and know what those totals normally look like... Then the incongruence of facts in their head should help wake them up more.

For me, it was about seeing how blatant the media's deception was. Just the other day for instance CSPAN did this:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pots7T4vOT8]Blatant BLACKOUT of Ron Paul on CSPAN - YouTube[/ame]

That kind of under-the-radar shit really pissed off a lot of people, but I think it's far worse that the media even mentions the Primaries and focuses on those votes in the first place... Straw poll votes like those exist for exactly one purpose: To allow the peons to think they have a say in the republic.

Since they clearly do not (Evidenced by the fact that no delegates are truly bound to any nominee in their state at convention) this is all a charade perpetuated by the MSM and serves them very well in squashing the rEVOLution.

It's really their best tool against Paul and anyone else that the establishment doesn't want in office. Total strawman elections... :crying:

Who would you vote for if you had to vote between Romney or RP? Curious if you're a half-glass-empty RP fan or a Romney supporter.

Edit: To answer my own question, I wouldn't vote for either guy if I had a choice between them and the most ideal candidate.. But forced at gunpoint between the two, RP.

January 20, 2013: Mitt Romney is getting sworn in as President of the United States...

Meanwhile on WickedFire:
"Guys, we're really going to make this happen! We're so close." - lukep

(PS: I will still vote for Dr. Paul in the California primary out of principle.)

Ron Paul to media: "we've decided we're not gonna give you any more money"
Media: "OK, You're out."

Big thanks to LukeP for carrying the torch man.
Paul HAS to win or we will all end up in FEMA camps or crispy burnt post-nuclear retards.

There is NO argument against Paul, if you knew what was about to happen to US ALL then you would be supporting Paul like LukeP. Period. Get your heads out and look around, it's almost endgame.

And you even consider Romeny? I guess the people that vote against Paul deserve what they vote for.

There's an argument against everyone and there are plenty against Ron Paul. It is not difficult to form an argument that his economic policies will help precipitate the very things you're warning are 'about to happen to us all'. Paul's s not an exception, he's not a unique and special snowflake. His shit stinks like everyone else.

I understand that you would feel that way after voting for Obomba last cycle; but for the rest of us who's voting record is not so tarnished, we can see that his 30 years of voting and speaking out CONSISTANTLY on the same issues (whether we care about those issues or not) does Indeed make him a very rare & unique candidate.
