Anyone still actually in this space? I don't know why, but I sorta assumed it died with the mortgage meltdown.

I need a few questions answered from vendors or affiliates.

Was thinking of entering it and taking the leads into my company, but assumed it was above my skill level.
Looking at what you said, is it possible that people are not pursuing it and therefore its a good time to enter?

I've been thinking about getting into this area more and more. But like you said I keep thinking this niche is saturated. I have heard some good Podcast's discussing some promise in this area.

Meeting with a bank exec today about possible opportunities... Just need to see where the market stands first.

I'd generate leads (and subsequently sell them) before I considered jumping through the new regulatory hoops of launching a brokerage...
