fuck this story and the ties to race, cops are pieces of shit to everyone, blacks don't have a fucking monopoly on that shit. this could have just as easily happen to a white person like it does everyday of the year, except we dont hear about those instances because the media doesn't give a fuck.

I had a chat with the lady that cuts my hair this morning. It was semi-related to your comment about the media. First, a little background:
Years ago, a friend of a friend was outside a liquor store. It was evening, and he was smoking. Nothing more. He wasn't the type to find trouble, either by accident or intent. Several cops descended on him, and shot him dead.
According to my friend, who knew the liquor store owner, the incident was caught on video. The video was later confiscated by the police and never returned to the liquor store owner. My friend claimed to have seen it prior to its confiscation. (I choose my friends carefully, and don't tolerate liars.)
This morning, while getting a haircut, I spoke of the incident to the lady who cuts my hair. She began asking me questions, all of which confirmed that she had heard of the episode:
"Was he Asian?" (yes)
"Did it happen at night?" (yes)
"Near a liquor store several streets up?" (yes)
"Were there a LOT of cops involved?" (yes)
As luck would have it, one of her clients is a cop. He was one of the cops who had put a few rounds in the victim. She said her client claimed "it was a face-off, him and us. So we had to put him down." She also mentioned her client had to take a long leave of absence (paid, I'm certain) to cope with the stress of the incident.
I explained that, from what I knew of the victim, he was nice, smart, always polite, and always tried to mind his own business. I asked the lady:
"Do you remember seeing this event reported in the major media?" (no)
"Did you see it in the local papers?" (no)
I have compiled hundreds of these stories. Very few make it into the major press. Those that do only do so when they are caught on video (as in the case of the Fullerton man beaten to death by cops). That is why cops confiscate video. That is why the NAACP set up a system whereby people could upload videos quickly, before their phones and other mobiles are confiscated at the scene.
This is not an isolated event. It happens often. If such stories were printed in the paper, there would be little room for the ads.
I started skimming over this post like I do most super long posts but then halfway through noticed your username and then went back and read it slowly from the beginning.
