It's just an interesting decision on their part. If it is the case, I wonder how long it will take before the gutter rats of the internet make a large enough impact to cause people to go vocal about offensive content. Is it Facebook's way of supporting SOPA-like proposals and is this some kind of strategy to give the U.S. a bigger following behind controlling the internet? If I remember correctly, Facebook wouldn't speak out against SOPA. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not of the belief that the government just said, "Oh well fuck, we can't win this one. What's next on the agenda?" I believe the two biggest threats to the U.S. government are the internet and OIF/OEF veterans.
Anyway, if this isn't remotely true, then just get suddenly_ass in here and let's call it a night.
