SEO IS DEAD

Half the "Whys" are listed as "so and so is trying to sell their services to you"

Then, upon further inspection, this info graphic, which bashes everyone as being morons, is hosted on a site that does what?

That's right... provides SEO services.

True enough, and I know they have their own agenda to push, but it brings up a lot of good points. Have a walk around IM forums and you can see most of the characters from the diagram, and the same motives always sit behind each argument.

Ironically it's most supportive of blackhat SEO'ers.

One more crippling bombshell hit the already beleaguered SEO community when Matt Cutt's confirmed that another algorithm has dropped yet again, now down to less than a fraction of 1 percent of all searches. Coming on the heels of a recent Panda update which plainly states that SEO has lost more ROI, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. SEO is collapsing in complete disarray, as fittingly exemplified by failing dead last in the recent INC 500 comprehensive marketing budget test.

You don't need to be a Kreskin to predict SEO's future. The hand writing is on the wall: SEO faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for SEO because SEO is dying. Things are looking very bad for SEO. As many of us are already aware, SEO continues to lose market share. Red ink flows like a river of blood.

Blackhat SEO is the most endangered of them all, having lost 93% of its core promoters. The sudden and unpleasant departures of long time Blackhat SEO at BHW and WF only serve to underscore the point more clearly. There can no longer be any doubt: SEO is dying.

Let's keep to the facts and look at the numbers.

WarriorForum leader Adam states that there are 70000 users of Blackhat SEO. How many users of Whitehat SEO are there? Let's see. The number of Blackhat versus Whitehat posts on forums is roughly in ratio of 5 to 1. Therefore there are about 70000/5 = 14000 Whitehat marketers. Greayhat posts on forums are about half of the volume of Whitehat posts. Therefore there are about 7000 users of Greyhat SEO.

Due to the troubles of Panda and Penguin, abysmal ROI and so on, Blackhat SEO went out of business and was taken over by inbound marketing who sell another troubled marketing scheme. Now inbound marketing is also dead, its corpse turned over to yet another charnel house.

All major surveys show that SEO has steadily declined in ROI. SEO is very sick and its long term survival prospects are very dim. If SEO is to survive at all it will be among spam dilettante dabblers. SEO continues to decay. Nothing short of a miracle could save it at this point in time. For all practical purposes, SEO is dead.

SEOBook is the shit. And they don't provide SEO services, they teach you how to do SEO right. I highly recommend a membership there.

LOL... No. The true blackhaters just went more underground, so simply signing up to a gay webmaster forum won't give noobs access to some great techniques. Take Grindstone's SGW... Actually nevermind "he shutdown that service".

Blackhat became WhiteHat, When Google said All SEO was against their TOS. No one is safe. LOL. Google's got people deleting links, un-optimizing their websites, I really can't stop laughing.

But, honestly, for propaganda purposes, I'd rather everyone keep saying that SEO is Dead, and have them leave this industry. Lets clutter, less noobs, less wasted time in thread after thread about Google's EMD update, or everytime a Penguin/Panda gets thrown at them. The only time I see Penguins and Pandas are at the zoo.

Good luck bro.

Fact: SEO is dead

In all boom industries this happens.

At first, since there is a huge boom, every idiot who gets in can ride the wave of profits. Then, when there isn't a 1000000% annual growth rate, and you have to use more than 2 neurons to make a profit, 99.999999% of all people will no longer be able to make money. And since admitting their own failure in business isn't an option, the now stabilizing growth industry is declared dead.

For 99.999% of all people, the latest changes are horrible. For some of us, they are the best thing to have ever happened.

SEO will never die if you define it by what its name means. There will always be 'optimizing', but the way most people are optimizing is dying...

It's getting to a point where there is going to be only a handful of things that you can do to legitimately 'optimize' your website. Sooner or later all these link packages, services, short-cuts, etc. are going to die out. It's pretty obvious Google doesn't want anyone gaming their system. In the future I'm sure Google will have their system fine tuned and the possibility to game the system with these short cuts will be long gone.

Eventually everyone will be following the same rules if they want their website on Google. I'm sure SEO services will still be around, but it won't be like it is today. It won't be as easy as buying a link package from joe schmo. The only people who will still be in this business will be the ones who got an early start on setting up a legitimate SEO company with a bunch of employees working on 'SEO Accounts' building up everything legit.

All you small fries who rely on your SEO services for your income need to put on your big boy pants and adapt. Start creating a real business and brand, or go home.

"the cleaner of black hat seo's are forced to exist between hackers..."

This and the part about a "broad spectrum" for "black hat" shows just how bastardised that term has become. The phrase came over from the hacking world*, and was to describe malicious hacking. A "cleaner" black hat hacker would be described as grey or white.

*Before there it came from the film world, where villains in western movies often wore black hats.

So much fail in this post. It reeks of the perspective of the typical seoMozzer who can't rank shit, so they sell their "services" to idiot clients instead. Not sure if that's how you intended it to come across, so I'll apologize in advance if I missed your point.

There's a lot more to the "SEO business" than setting up a legit SEO company. You could, for instance, rank your own shit and sell people stuff they're looking for? Groundbreaking, I know....

Speaking of which... those bigger dick pills you ordered are coming soon.

Well i guess you missed the whole point of that post then. I was speaking directly to those small fries who do exactly what you just said.
