The Patriots played him in his first game as a starter, played badly initially, then almost had an amazing comeback by scoring 28 straight points.
I agree with you and dchuk though that as good as he or RG3 might be as a dual threat, eventually they take a murderous hit and get a terrible injury. It's just odds and a matter of time. I'll take a pure passer any day over a "dual threat".
San Fran was a dangerous team already with that defense; Kap makes them a real contender. Belichick will be more prepared for him/them if they meet again though.

Baltimore matches up really well against the Pats and almost won in the playoffs last time against them, with Sterling Moore barely knocking a game-winning TD pass away, if you recall. That's why I was hoping Denver would knock them out. Should be a good AFC game regardless if they can take care of Houston tomorrow.

The packers loss last night can r attributed to something they're unfortunately known for doing: they don't change their defense to account for a new threat and assume they will just hang in there.
