NFL Playoffs

When was the last time someone got KO'd and dropped the ball. Thats luck.

Throwing a hail merry in the Denver game to go to over time. Luck.

These things dont usually happen. So I would put then in the luck category.

that wasn't luck, riddley shouldn't have dropped his head like that. You always lead with your facemask, not the crown of your head. He's lucky he didn't break his fuckin neck (which was my initial fear watching that hit live), especially against a safety with a running start who gives no fucks about getting fined for his hits.

Yes. This was luck.

Question. How did the Ravens do against a mobile QB when they played the redskins.

Joe Flacco has thrown more 20+ yard passes this year than any other quarterback. In fact in the Broncos game, Joe Flacco completed several other 40+ yard passes earlier in the game.

You are describing a lot of things the Ravens do all the time (huge hits that cause turnovers and deep passes thrown by Joe Flacco) and calling them one time flukes.

Joe Flacco outplayed Tom Brady and the Ravens Defense outplayed the Patriots Defense. I don't see how luck factors into that at all.

Question. How did the Ravens do against a mobile QB when they played the redskins.
What's that have to do with anything we've been talking about?

Now it just sounds like you're grasping for things because you're bitter the Patriots lost.

I dont care about the Pats. Im a west coast guy. 49ers and Seahawks fan.

I didnt mean I shit on your team. Just because your team relies on luck to win. Dont take it so personally. It might work for them and that's good. They proved Vegas wrong twice in a row now.

All I'm saying is Ravens can eat shit and die. Go 49ers

How can you be both a 49ers and Seahawks fan?

Both fanbases HATE each other.

I pick seahawks when they play each other. But any other team can each shit and die.

I'm a Pac12 fan and a Duck fan.

49ers have a pac 12 coach and Lamichael was the best Duck RB ever.

Now that Chip Kelly is an Eagle. I might become an Eagle Fan.

Why hasn't New England won a super bowl since 2004?
because they've become a soft, finesse football team.

If it weren't for two miraculous plays in two Super Bowls, they would have won 2 more. The Helmet Catch being one of them.

They won the three super bowls because of their defense.
Brady had very little to do with the Rams victory. That was all about defense and Belicheck outcoaching Markz.

The NFL is an offensive, passing league now. They had to change the rules because of a Belichick strategy against the Colts. You don't win with shutdown defense anymore, you win with great offense and an okay defense.

Please spare me the Tom Brady is the best QB to ever play the game. He is far from it. His stats are based on the current era where anybody can put up favorable stats compared to QB's who played from the 90's and backwards. He doesn't perform well under pressure and he doesnt step up when the other team challenges him in a big game.

I don't bother ranking players. I know that Brady thrives in Belichick's system.

The Patriots were running slightly ahead of Baltimore until Talib got hurt. Anyone who has followed this team for any extended period of time knows that their defense is their Achilles heel.

That's why Talib and Dennard were huge mid-season acquisitions for them, especially Talib. He's their best cornerback, was shutting down Anquan Boldin and his presence in the lineup allowed NE to move other players to more natural positions(i.e. McCourty to safety, Arrington to the bench, etc..)

That's why that specific player getting injured in that specific game was so incredible and I knew how bad it was. Then Chung got injured as well.

And who scores two touchdowns? Boldin, the guy Talib was supposed to be covering.

It's a completely different game if he doesn't get injured, the Ravens' offense never gets clicking, and perhaps the Pats find some rhythm of their own. To me, it's not disappointing that they lost, but that they lost that way, with some of their best players(Gronk, Talib, Edelman, Jones) out.

And Bernard Pollard is a disgustingly filthy player. I think the NFL should ban him from ever playing again.

Anybody see Wes Welker's wife FB rant.

"Proud of my husband and the Pats. By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!

Maybe she should have checked out her own Wikipedia page before she made such an idiotic comment. Obviously Ray Lewis has a pretty shady resume, but being acquitted of murder and having a bunch of kids from 4 different women had nothing to do with the Pats losing. Welker must have loved that one. When I think of football knowledge and credibility, Miss Hooters 2005 definitely comes to mind.

It's the level of class I've come to expect from people associated with the Patriots organization.
