Nothing Can Be Explained
Now I'm back on it

I can hear the ants talking, I'm on God's frequency now hearing him command the Angels of heaven. All the laws and formulas of physics are being recited through my head. I can actually see and hear Ryan Eagle's thoughts while he panics over the WF threads. Writing down pages of campaign ideas and drafting up Facebook's entire API. I think Zeus is using me as a vessel and this feels so good. Thank Zeus for adderall, thank God Almighty, Thank the Heavens, Thank Lucifer for dropping out of Heaven and becoming the Devil or else there wouldn't be Adderall. PRAISE ALLAH, PRAISE BUDDHA, ADDERALL FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST.
 


Ok, addy > *racetams, but how does it compare to modafinil? I've got both piracetam and modafinil on hand and have used both with great effects on some of those super fucking hard organic chem finals.

Having tried everything under the sun, I can answer this:

Modafinil prevents your body from getting tired for long periods of time, but doesn't provide much of a "high"...IE you don't feel it, you just never get tired throughout the day. It's a drug meant for people with narcolepsy and pilots who have to fly 40+ hour missions.

Adderall can be felt. Not only does it improve your general sense of wellbeing, but you also feel motivated and feel like you're just moving faster and working harder. It's an amphetamine, you're basically taking speed.
 
I have been taking Concerta for about a year now off and on, and my productivity skyrockets when I am on it... The key thing is to have a list and then lock on to it and hold on tight.

If I take the Concerta without a plan, like today, I am all over the fucking place, getting lost in Wickedfire for hours digging into every link and obsessing over every concept.

And now I am going to get back to profitable work. Thanks for the reminder.

I tried both regular Amphetemine since that is way bigger in EU then MethAmphetamine and I don't think Adderal is far off from the kick you get from them...
 
Concerta > Adderall IMO, although my doc said it's different for everybody. The come-down from Adderall is shit for me, plus the "amphetamine funk" sucks, so I rarely take it. If Concerta was available in a generic, I'd take it daily.

The mesolimbic pathway is a brain circuit that depends on the neurotransmitter dopamine. It enables habit formation by linking certain behaviors to the sensation of pleasure.
