$55 bitcoins Time to buy? Or keep falling?

Good day trade. But this thing is headed to $50 sooner or later.

I hope so, but who knows. News could come out of banks continuing to refuse to do business with Bitcoin sites, sending this thing below $50. Then again, Spain could request an emergency bailout from the IMF, sending this thing up to $350.

Nobody knows. Time will tell!

Unlike stocks, it's not like bitcoin can ever fall out of favor for a superior currency. Stocks come and go, but bitcoin isn't going anywhere. The folks that sell may return and new people will enter the market. There's 5000+ stocks but only just handful of virtual curencies and bitcoin is the undisputed leader.

Don't kid yourself. 1 swipe of a pen and you can kiss your precious bit coins goodbye. Keep a close eye on legislation. If you want to see the possibilities just go back and look up "netteller accounts frozen". The .gov stomped out online poker by killing the middleman. They made it so credit card companies wouldn't process payments to notorious "poker payment processors". Don't think for a second this can't or won't happen to BTC

If anyone's interested, looks like it's taking a massive shit again.

Wait a bit for it to bottom out, buy in, sell off 12 - 48 hours later when it rebounds, and make an easy $15 - $30/coin.

Only problem with this is... none of the exchanges (i've seen at least) accept VISA or Mastercard. It's all wire transfer to privately owned bank accounts, then wire transfer back out when you want to convert into USD. So I'm not sure how they'd stop that the same they did with poker, Neteller, et al.

I don't know what will happen with Bitcoin... fizzle out, or stick around? Time will well! I don't think there's much the government can do about it though. It'd be about the equivalent to trying to get people to stop smoking weed. People who want to smoke weed are going to smoke weed. Same as people who want to trade in BTC are going to trade in BTC.

lol. The moment a legislature declares bitcoin as illegal currency and asks banks/CC to stop processing the funds from mtgox and other networks. Your bitcoins are worthless.

The only reason people are buying the bitcoins becoz they HOPE they can sell it for a USD.

You can't even wipe your ass with bitcoins when it crashes, sorry atleast greenback has the toilet paper advantage.

You think it'll go below 100?

Edit: Oh, just did, briefly.

I almost forgot. The US .gov stopped caring about wire transfers back in the fall of 2001. So you're prob right. They cant do anything about it.

Agreed. There really is no way to know the future. But for the time being I really cant think of a reason not to play w/ BTC. My main point is, if you are going to play this game, just keep an eye on the rule book.

I don't know, and I'm probably the worst person to ask. Although I've done quite well in this whole Bitcoin thing, truth to be told, I don't have the slightest clue as to what I'm doing.

But no, look...

Absolutely no indication of an upward trend at all. Just wait for it to start trending upwards, then buy in. Almost guaranteed, within 48 hours of that it'll be up at least $15/coin. Then sell off, and wait for it to take a shit again.

One of the things to love & hate about Bitcoin is that it's backed by absolutely nothing, except 100% pure human emotion. It's like watching a school of fish. If the food sinks, they sink, if the food rises, they rise. Same thing with Bitcoin. Just watch where the food is heading, because you know the entire school of fish is going to follow it.

I have 5.45258621 coins in coinbase. It has been sitting there for a month and I have desire to continue being "involved" with bitcoins. Is someone interested in taking these coins off my hand in exchange for Paypal?

And what is the food? You are just watching what the other fish are doing and then following them.
