in addition to the expenses of renting the office, configuring it, transportation, etc.
I don't think this has hurt my chances of success, being that I've achieved more success at IM than I could have ever dreamed of.
More success than ever dreamed but bitching about 400 bucks rent a month? Wat.
Having an office won't prevent distractions if you're constantly going to youtube or checking sports stats.
That's true, but there is an easy fix for that.
The main distractions you have to deal with when you're working from home is that there is no clear separation between work and life. Try working 3 years from the same place where you sleep, eat, play, fuck and you will feel like you're hustling 24/7 and you have no way to cool off. When you open the door to your office you automatically know that it's hustle time and that you will work the next 9-10 hours fully committed on your business. When you get out of the door after a long day you know that you'll leave your business behind in your office and will not take it home with you.
