Since demonoid was killed I have been totally screwed trying to find torrents for ebooks. Most everything else I get from newsgroups but demonoid always had every book I was looking for. I usually get programing/development, fiction, and business books and put them on my kindle.

So is anyone a member of some private tracker that has a good section of books and can I get an invite? or at least knows the names of some good ones I can try to get into?
 


TV is a treasure trove. I've been a member since 2009 and didn't receive a single invite. Best bet is to get an account on a sister site (TheBox, ThePlace, TheGeeks or any other), build up reputation there and then ask for invite on IRC to TV.
 
You just need to look harder...

Wafo has tons of deals on WSO ebooks, and I know.. I know.. Limited Time offer, only 10 copies left at this price, their so hard to get at the low, low price of $7. :(

TheVault.bz, I've heard great things also, haven't used it myself but I want to.
 
www.kat.ph is what I've been using since Demonoid's death. It's not private, but they have a good selection of business / programming books (at least I've always been able to find the ones I'm looking for). Not so much on the general reading and fiction though. I am also still looking for a good tracker for sci-fi books.

Been there since 2007, they used to give out invites. Personally I gave 4 away but it's been a bitch getting in lately.
 
Awesome great suggestions guys. Already found several books I was looking for.

I used to have a valut account, but tying to login to it seems it was deleted. Guess if you don't log in for a year they boot you out.

It is because u never donate to their site, so after a period of inactivity, they kick u out.

Go to their irc channel and ask them to reinstate u **nicely** because the mods are kinda snobbish bastards.
