A German politician sued to get access to his phone data that was being stored by Deutsche Telekom - 6 months of his movements, texts, calls etc are all mapped out here (just push play):

Tell-all telephone | Data Protection | Digital | ZEIT ONLINE

Now remember that this is data collected back in 2009 and it is only data from one telephone company - imagine what your daily log looks like when it's the NSA which has access to far more than just your phone data.

I have nothing to hide therefore I am not concerned.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.
Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

I find it funny, you guys let credit card companies track and record your purchases, use store shopping saver cards which again details what you purchase regardless of how you pay, post every little detail on facebook, and twitter, but have an issue when the government cataloged your phone records. I just don't get the "fake rage" Here is an idea, you don't want government having your call log, don't use a cellphone. Problem solved.

Let me know when credit card companies and grocery stores start assassinating people with drones. Then I'll give a shit about the access they have to my personal information.
