Hopefully this helps someone. This guy has a ton of valuable lessons and information in this interview.
Interview starts at about 7 mins in. Good stuff about 9:30 in.

He dances around how much of his success (like many entreprenuers) is dependent on fucking other people over :) I read the "circle of friends" spiel with the thought "a higher quality circle of friends have more to plunder from".

^ I don't think that was a point implied or mentioned at all ^
Maybe you might have assumed that if you watched for 4 or so minutes.

If you get a bit deeper into the video you would see that fucking over your buddies doesn't get you anything positive at all. Of course most of us know this...but fewer practice it.

Anytime the first part of an interview discusses in high esteem someone like Tony Robbins, I have a hard time accumulating enough respect to continue watching.

I listened to about 6 minutes at various parts of the video. I just can't stand personal development preachers. I don't believe their anecdotes.

I favor interviews of people that are into the thick of it and don't hit the seminar tour once they reach an ounce of success.

I much prefer these type of interviews - Foundation — Episode 34 w/ Matt Galligan

Couple of minutes deep into it and I already don't agree with what he's saying about people being the average of individuals they choose to hang out with. More than often I like to be around people that others would consider washed up, uninspiring or just plain regular, because those people are the exact average consumers who respond in a no bs way to the vibe a creator's product gives off. This is exactly the type of mistake "startup" kids make when they hang out in a tight clique all the time, driven by the same mindset, making websites/apps for their silicon valley circle of "visionaries". I'd rather spend my time learning about regular people so I can mold my products to the needs of masses, thus providing more value on a large scale. Don't ever miss out on regular people's experiences/way of thinking because that'll give you far more insight in terms of what to do than any arrogant asshole who made a buck ever could.

Zig ziglar is one of the best sales trainers/speakers to ever walk the earth. Just ignore all the shit about god and other bullshit that he started preaching in his later years.

^ Maybe you might have assumed that if you watched for 4 or so minutes.

No, I watched most of it. I also did some separate research, like finding his "bestselling book" that was was only released on the Japanese amazon.com site.

He's certainly smart. Yes, he's banking. But I stand by my opinion that he probably upscales friend circles in order to beg/con/steal capital, without offering much in return. That's not uncommon, or even frowned upon by most. Steve Jobs was an asshole that over leveraged friends and dropped them as well. Smart, successfull, but still an asshole.

Bromey, the interview is not even about business.
Business is maybe 10% of it and how it relates to life.
I figure we all ready a lot of business related advice here and in other spots, so I posted something different that I felt could help someone with life.

You didn't watch it and started posting the Zig (RIP bro), some penny stock scammer, etc.
I can appreciate your input but didn't watch the interview and immediately like most people thought "oh I know this sheet, beeyatch, let me show you some real sites...these 2 are my "fav's" for business advice." lol

Musings by Matt Galligan - how fkin cool is this...holy shit, I didn't realize the rabbit hole went that deep.

Chad Hurley.com • About Me - wow, get to see a guy go on vacation, take selfies. I got a whole lot out of that one. Let him know to get rid of his "hello world" page.

Watch it, it will help you seeing how fast you dismiss information without investigating.

* I do like a couple of sites from your list though if I was looking for "business" advice.

Bueno Suerte Bro.

I guess I just saw most of his later stuff and the zig reps I've heard speak have been so guru.

Sry, I have some angst in the realm of self-help and motivational speakers. Majority of them just spew b$.

I listed the websites as a reference to show the character of the people rather than the content. Chad Hurley is a pretty interesting dude - Chad Hurley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some of the Foundation interviews they talk about a mix of life and business (mostly biz).

lol, first 5 minutes so far suck, he's talking about protein powder and coffee and he is like spinning around holding the camera making me dizzy

Selling 101: What Every Successful Sales Professional Needs to Know

You can pretty much disregard anything he's put out in the last 20 years. But those I mentioned are as close as you will get to a bible of selling. Listen to the audio book. Much better to hear him tell it. You may want to check out Earl Nightengale as well.

I listened to about 30 mins before I got sick of it. He really needs to drop that tone where he acts like he's talking down to someone. He's trying to mimic the spiritual soft-spoken guru voice, but he sounds like he's talking to a 5 year old.
