I am wondering what some of you guys use or have used successfully in the past for Remote Desktop work.

I am looking for a solution to the following:

  1. Secure operation and connection of customer desktops, launched from a web application like logmein123.com.
  2. Remote monitoring of employee workstations, displayed like the control panel of a security camera console. The ability to view actions without interrupting the worker. Also the ability to interrupt the worker at will and take control of the workstation.
  3. Video Recording of all actions while remotely connected.

Is there any freeware, opensource, or damn good paid apps you have used???

I think you'll be hard pressed to find any service that will constantly store that amount of data for you while providing that, combined with the massive bandwidth hog that will be for someone in a 3rd world country. (I'm assuming from your post you're hiring from the 3rd world)

Its not exactly for the "third" world...lol. It could be over a local network in a large building. Or hosted on a cloud server of my own.

To add to the original post:

Has anyone had any experience with remote control of devices like android phones or tablets?

Dare I ask about Ipads and Iphones too???

Since you ask...I use and app called DroidMote to control an Android box loaded with XBMC and plugged into my TV. There is a server app that is installed on the Android box and the client is installed on my cellphone. There are apparently client servers available for Windows and Linux as well. This works slick for my application, however not sure it will operate to the degree you require.

Why waste your money on this, instead give your employees goals and bonuses for these goals. This will have a positive feedback on your business and greater impact.
