I am no expert in programming, heck i've only started recently and have developed a few, but nothing revolutionary. But i do know that this forum is filled with experienced programmers who can write code as well as they can speak their first language. Whenever i came across learning about accessibility, I would just skip the pages and move on. After reading that thread, i regret doing that.

There are entire software and hardware computer devices for the blind. its badass actually how much a blind person can still use a computer just as a normal person would.

Programming blind is about as hardcore as it comes.
