I'm looking to see what the best shopping cart program is as an affiliate. I want to setup many products from a data feed into the site, and was wonering what the best way would be.

I saw popshops, but didn't really like that way. Any other ideas?

Are you guys wanting to load up shopping carts with multiple products then send them off to purchase at the merchant?

I always just send them off on the first product and hope they upsell them a bit.

Idealy, I'm going to be using one merchant's affiliate program. I want to advertise for my niche, and have them shop on my site. I want the user to 'shop' on my site, yet 'purchase' on the merchant, in a smooth transition.

I haven't done any affy work like this before so I don't know if it can be done like this.

If it can't be done like this, how is it typically done? In this niche, repeat business and viral marketing is definately possible, so I want to execute this in a way that doesn't detract attention from my site durring the process.

I'm very interested in this too.

You want to create a shopping area for your visitors similar to Amazon eStore but wide arrange of items?

Try partnering up with pricegrabber, pricerunner, or use shopping.com api (more customizable). You get paid by the click like adsense; lately we are seeing boom with widgetbucks and now shoppingads(invite) .

You can find great reviews about shopping portals and product list guides here.

Good luck

Hey thanks for the reply but I don't think this is what I'm looking for. I already have a merchant that is able to give me an export of products available for my niche. I'm not looking for another merchant.
My question is what is the best way to use those products? or an rss/datafeed of products? What shopping cart program will give my site a nice store front, but allow the merchant to have the backend to process orders?

try dumping your datafeed into wordpress using an rss or xls/csv import script. then tweak out wordpress with a few plugins to make it more "shopping cart" like.

Yeah I've thought of this and may take that route. Was just hoping there was something more clean and dedicated. thanks for all the replies
