Warrior Forum acquired by Freelancer.com for $3.2mm

I think people are more shocked that someone else didn't scrounge up more money to outbid. It sounds extremely low.

It does seem a bit of a sudden thing..when I say sudden I think noises were getting louder (whatever noises they were) and he sold out. I don't believe for a fucking second that $3.2M was his exit strategy.

And what I find even more unbelievable is that none of his marketer friends stumped up the cash as a pool, Or even just one of his friends on there own could have taken that on at double the price. That to me paints it's own picture. I think his door was being knocked by the powers that be.

And if I'm totally honest, the amount of scam pump and dumps being e-whored in that place, it was a long time coming and no less than it deserved (if it was being FTC fucked). I'm surprised it's never been trumped so far.

That being said, that's how you create a money pump. So on that front he did very well to create what he created even if it was ethically questionable on just about every level there is.

The guy is a very smart entrepreneur I'll give him that.

Have to agree with those that think trouble is brewing. Buddy got out when he could for what he could. No doubt, WaFo is worth a lot more to Freelancer. Everyone is happy. I am sure a couple years ago he envisioned a 8 figure exit.

Fuck, say whatever you want about WaFo, Says built a business.

I know most of you fucktards are like, 12-20yrs old, so I'll give it to you slowly.

Allen Says is like 70 yrs old. Repeat after me:

Exit Strategy.

Retirement.

17 Years of hosting a website with minimal overhead to 3.2MM cash out.

LOL.

Hope you do 1/100th as well with your "businesses", ballers.

Likewise, Allen.
Stfu. Don't get me wrong, not a fanboy.

I think Says is a fucktard of the highest order- with a little forethought and maintenance, he could have turned that place into a cash cow of legendary status.

Why he didn't, We'll never know. His revenue could have been insane multiples of what it was if he had just kept his WSO fees low and charged a final value fee or commission on every WSO instead of a static listing fee.

Stupid motherfucker IMHO. But still, at the end- perfectly acceptable exit, and far more than average in this business.

I hope Allen Says helps his buddy Wagenheim out so Waggy doesn't have to sell any more of his figurines.

You think so?...

There are businesses doing more than that in a year (I'm not one) ...never mind a fucking exit for the largest MMO/IM forum on the net.

C'mon guys clearly he wasn't in it for the money, it was a deep-rooted passion to help fuel entrepreneurship that kept that ship afloat for so long.

I think the owner just had enough of all the bullshit that place houses and took the first offer that came along.

And in peasant's news

"
Effective immediately we are making a few permanent improvements to pricing:
* All WSO listings will now be reduced from $40 to $20
* All War Room members will have their 20 year membership extended to lifetime, immediately. Moving forward new memberships will be $20 per year.

"

Winrar

Their buy/sell section sucks. I've brought nothing but quality over there and have gotten only a handful of sales.

Quality doesn't sell over there.

The shitter/simpler your sales copy, the better it will sell.

Remember...

You're selling to people with a short attention span, limited will power, and a strong need to be swayed into a new direction.

All emotional. Can't sell a peasant a million dollar dream in a suit and a rolex.

Sometimes you have to wear a t-shirt and make them feel like they are just like you, only more less.. "taking advantage of you".

......

Being a marketer hearing about WSOs I HAD to try it myself years ago. I like exploring every inch of opportunity online.

$1,700 in 7 days from launching 1 ebook WSO, LOL.

These days it's DEAD. Unless you have affiliates, you're NOT selling shit.

The forum traffic itself is dead for the WSO section.

With that said, I'll never sell another one.

It's worth more but chances are the FTC has finally started sniffing around and the man unloaded it at less then an optimal price to just GTFO. He might run to some 3rd world country with 3.2m and live like a god.

I love the conspiracy shit going on in here. But let's just say the FTC are snooping around. Just because he sold it doesn't mean he gets off scott free if he committed some sort of crime. 3.2 mil is probably just enough to cover the FTC fines if they come after him. And would Freelancer buy it if it were a legal liability? I seriously doubt it.

Then why do you suppose it was sold for just 3.2 mil?

Regarding the conspiracy theory of the FTC, when I think of that I don't think of him doing anything wrong, but more so the way WSO ebooks and things like that will need to be marketed which may cause sales to go down
