World Cup

We are doing good..

Now the US actually has a (still small but not that small) chance to advance to the next round. Klinsmann knows our team so maybe the US boys don't get raped like Portugal.
 


World Cup needs to do one thing for their players, get protective mouth pieces for Christ sake. The Kung Fu jumps are pretty dangerous.
 
Ghana have had so much more time on the ball but their attack looks like a broken record at just before the half. Their only pattern is to go for the corner kick and they can't go over the middle because they're giving up some height to some of the American players - but it hasn't stopped them from trying.

If USA can stop turning over the ball and get their handling in order they should win this comfortably. But if they let Ghana keep getting the ball inside their half they are just asking to lose.

It's seriously like Ghana doesn't know the left side of the net exists.
 
Lost on that dire Iran game. To make up, put a shedload on Ghana/USA gls to turn a nice profit.

Wasn't looking good and then it all came to life in the last 7 minutes. Thank you America.

Right now the host nation are starting to get nervous. Last night they looked very ordinary and couldn't break Mexico down, thanks in part to some fantastic goalkeeping. I hope they get through, but I can't see them winning it. Too reliant on Neymar.

I have Argentina in the sweepstake which is kind of a conflict of interests for a Brit!
