with 2 players - you both had to be on your game, or you're screwed. I spent insane amounts of time on it, eventually trying to play with 1 controller in each hand because I was frustrated with my friend's level of play.

Megamania... I pwned that game on the Atari 2600. I bought a Gameboy Advance and 99% of the time I used it, I used it to play fucking Megamania. I used to play lots of other 2600 games, like Pitfall and shit, but that was a long time ago.

Played a lot of Metroid on SNES/N64/GBA.

On Commodore 64, I played a lot of Boulder Dash, Jumpman series, Miner 2049'er, Hard Hat Mack, Loderunner, Bruce Lee, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Impossible Mission, Uridium, and all the fucking Infocom games.

On the PC, Psycho Pinball, Warcraft I (not the online MMO, the original PC game for DOS), Tomb Raider, Ultima III, Doom I, Doom II, Carmageddon, Grand Theft Auto (all of them), and Everquest. Recently, I'd have to say the Half Life 2 series, and Portal. They are all amazing games.

If you say The Sims I will stab you in the fucking eye.

best game on c64 was California Games, hands down. Bruce Lee also kicked ass...and GiJoe where you had to flip the disk. I also spent great amounts of time on Boulderdash.
Man the commodore 64 was awesome. I remember using it to connect to QLink --those were the days.

Oh man... I spent countless hours playing the Silent Hill series of games and trying to unlock every ending and finding every hidden item. Any other Silent Hill players out there?

Urgh... Just remembered...

Anyone remember Turrican on the Amiga?
I must have played that for ages... I was insanely good at it, too.

for my entire freshman year in college i played tony hawk 1. I'd say that was a pretty good addiction, although i'm certain it was the weeds fault.

There was this girl in my high school that had an unusually large head. So all the guys called her DK Mode as a nickname. None of the females in school knew what it meant and everytime she'd try to figure it out by asking a guy they would start cracking up laughing and start calling her it. She never found out what it meant, I think she started assuming it was a compliment because she would just smile and giggle everytime we'd call her it.

I think we played that game for like 48 hours straight.

I think I beat that level maybe 1x or 2x

Ahhhhh the memories! It had three parts if I remember correctly, all of them caused me problems in school lol.
