Instead of solving enigmas that are scanned words, what your users with no-captcha need to do is select an answer to a simple question like "what's your favorite color".

Apparently google recognizes how you interact with the whole site and marks you as a real human accordingly.

Interesting stuff IMO

I must be blind, but can't see any technical docs on how exactly it works. I guess it's a secret, and we're just supposed to trust the marketing slogans that it's really, really good?

I'm a tech guy -- I like to understand how shit works before I use it.

Are you logged into your google account?
Is your IP blacklisted?
Have you visited 10,000 sites in the last 10 mins?

Seems to me this was pretty easy for them to implement, cloudflare etc do the same, surprised it took them so long, although I know they were/are using it to solve problems like google maps house numbers etc. for free...

What a misleading title - in the interview he only says it's "easy to crack".

Fucking journalists would spin any fact to get more clicks.
Who actually reads articles any more?

Says everything you need in the title bruh.

Luis von Ahn, the project lead of reCAPTCHA goes on to say ” about the “penis attack”. We serve over 400 million CAPTCHAs per week, so submitting 200k CAPTCHAS with the word penis doesn’t even come close to poisoning our database

Captcha this.

Why do they always regard to everyone as friends? I have always wondered that ;)
Because they are friendly people. And oftentimes rather positive people. And polite people. What's wrong with that?
