How legit is this guy? Must be one gifted dude...

"Each November, over 28,000 eighth and ninth graders take the 2 1⁄2-hour exam, and roughly 800 students are annually accepted at Stuyvesant"

That's the school he studies in, pretty smart I guess

Get fucked, he's not 17. I'm in my 30s, and I look way younger than him. He's at least 35. Either that, or you Americans really need to cut down on the amount of hormones you feed your cows and chickens.

heh.

Something's not right about that story.

1. Enter high school at age 35. Gru your documents to make them look like you're 16.
2. Pump and dump penny stocks.
3. Suck in investors to your upcoming hedge fund.
4. ???
5. Profit

'It’s not just about the money,' said Mohammed,

'We want to create a brotherhood. Like, all of us who are connected, who are in something together, who have influence.'

saudi national call to arms?

As a 25 year old, who's only acquired 71mm from trading stocks, this story really rustles my jimmies.

Martin Grunin is officially in jealous mode.
Kicking himself that he didn't simply add 3 zeroes to his sets of lies, I'll bet.

This story is so stupid I never bothered to read the details. Honestly, "high schooler trades during lunch hour; makes $72 million" is as dumb as the Sergei Brin quits Google to teach guitar April Fools joke - which I also kind of believed momentarily.

The genius of tales this absurd is that they catch us off guard as we start believing something that runs counter to convention and personal experience. I guess we want to believe it. Mtkg lesson in there somewhere.
