Feeling energyless

Living an acidic life(too easy in this world) is literally draining your body of energy daily. Get yourself into an alkaline state rather than the acidic state we all usually live in and your whole body transforms. Everything from mental capacity and agility, extra or not enough weight to energy levels and better health starts to show up.

Our bodies heal themselves and are designed to give us an evolutionary advantage with endurance and energy.

Best news is it's really easy to get into an alkaline state. Drink powdered greens daily for a week and see if you don't feel like your boiling over with energy.

But if you're scared of drinking superfood that looks and tastes like dirt, but have the mental stones to not to turn into a tweaker, stims obviously work...well.

- 90% of my diet is composed of meat, fish and eggs.
- 10% is composed of vegetables, fruits and white rice.
- I consume very little fiber (less than 5 grams per day).
- I limit added sugars.
- I rarely snack, preferring to eat satiating meals.

The real human diet is a totally carnivorous one. : Low-Carb War Zone Forum : Active Low-Carber Forums
this is quite similar to this you are your own gym pre- about nutrition.
I tried this, I think the longest was like, 3,4 days. I did notice some muscle fatigue I had before not being there anymore.
but you can blame placebo effect for this just as easily.
this last forum post is extremely interesting.

I couldn't do it, but i'm quite impressed by the people having the discipline to do this over long periods of time.

I read that in so many places, and yet, how do you do that? I mean almost everything is processed food, do you not eat like noodles and stuff?

All I meant was fish & chips, or a pot pie, or whatever out of a box and thrown into the oven isn't a meal. Learn to cook. Grab some chicken breasts, chunks of pork, shrimp, fish, or whatever... a bunch of fresh veggies, cut it all up, cook it with some nice spices, and you're good to go.

Don't eat pizza pops for dinner, and expect to feel good the next day though. These constant diets that are shoved into our faces are retarded though. Just eat normally, and you'll feel fine, and be as healthy as can be. You don't need to be a scientist to know how to eat proper meals.

vitamin D when you wake up, if you're overweight double your dose
zma before you go to bed
eat clean
do high intensity cardio for 15-30 minutes every morning
get enough sleep

I've been on keto for a few months and love it, I no longer feel like I need a nap in the middle of the day and I can focus a lot better.

ill try that, its the new year :-)

I eat plenty of processed food, maccas, doritos, pizza, fish n chips... I also lift 6 days a week and fast occasionally and never feel tired or mentally drained.

Processed food isn't bad if you're not over-eating it. It's more about how much you eat, not what you eat. Calorie restriction or fasting is the way. Personally I fast for 24 hours on the regular.

Had my blood checked recently, inflammation (c-reactive protein) was undetectable, <1.

I just got a juicer for xmas and have been juicing every day. It's honestly amazing. I would recommend giving it a try. I wasn't very good about eating fresh fruits and vegetables, but now I do every day. I feel like I have way more energy. Worth a shot.

Fuck the nootropfags and other drugs. Just sort out your diet and eat well, exercise, do yoga, get sunlight, exercise, have sex. Avoid salt and fast food, as well as sodas and sweet drinks. Limit alcohol, better yet cut it out. Also get yourself a comprehensive checkup, just to rule out anything serious and also identify if you possibly are lacking in anything (e.g. vitamin d, iron, etc)

Yes. I recommend this.

I got both the new DDPYOGA vids and his old YRG vids... personally I like the older 3 vids better because its faster paced and the Yoga Doc givs you instructions during them.

Here is the magnet link for the old vids: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:3f891b1fecd21995c0ce6a6551df3dcbfb99ec82&dn=YRG

I have been juicing on and off for about a year. It's amazing how great you feel when you're doing it. Exercise, diet and a sleeping well are the best thing you can do. Staying on a schedule is also important.

Yeah, I'm going to get back into juicing. Haven't done it in a while, but remember how great I felt when I was. I've been feeling like absolute shit lately and I think it's mostly due to my liver being out of whack (drinking too much alcohol/shitty diet). So I'm going to knock off the drinking and start eating better here in 15.

LOL at all these asshats suggesting drugs and supplements. Just eat better (juicing works) and get some fucking excercise. Stop sitting around smoking pot and playing GTA 5.

Go on a ketogenic diet. Burn fat for energy rather than depend on sugar. This gets rid of consequences of blood sugar dips.

Love threads like this. Any quick summaries of what keto is all about and what your experience has been like?

It's possible to cut glucose, eat more fat, and still lack energy.

Some people refer to that predicament as the "low-carb flu." It's cited in scientific studies as metabolic flexibility (or lack thereof). In short, the body temporarily loses its ability to derive energy from fat. The ability can be regained with moderate exercise.

If you want to geek out a little on the science behind metabolic flexibility, here's a great overview...

What Is Metabolic Flexibility, and Why Is It Important? J. Stanton

Not this juicing bullshit again, you feel great and full of energy cos you just consumed 200 grams of sugar from the fruit. Drink 4 cans of coke and you'll be full of energy too.
