Anyone can help me know which is better, using Clickbank as a middle man Vs. creating my own affiliate program? What are the pros and cons of each?

Huge existing affiliate database that will see your product.
Trust - affiliates may be more likely to trust clickbank product rather than new no name affiliate program

Thanks for the advice! I just got an advice from a fellow member here suggesting it's better if I cut the middle man and just acquire my own affiliate program. But it's good to hear a few insights every now and then.

That's the plan. Though I was thinking whether to promote it on Clickbank or just cut out CB and do the promotions myself. However, I think @super explained the point pretty well.

IMO it's easier to let an external company handle your affiliate management simply for TAX purposes... Companies like ClickBank will collect FEID or SSN from affiliates and handle reporting earning to the IRS...

If you insist on running your own show... for self hosted script you might want to check out iDevAffiliate...

You can google for SAAS solutions... ShareASale, LeadDyno, etc...
